Some to know…

The YMCA Mt Albert Holiday Programme runs from 9am-3pm with drop off allowed from 8:45am and pickup before 3.15pm. Before Care is available from 7.30am and After Care is available from 3.15pm until 6pm. Both incur an extra cost.

We are MSD approved and registered. Families may be eligible for the WINZ OSCAR Subsidy. Please contact your local Work and Income office or visit www.workandincome.govt.nz for more information.

Bookings are essential and payment is required upon booking. Cancellations must be made 48hours before the programme day to access a refund. All refunds are at the discretion of the Centre Manager.

Children must be signed in and out by a parent / guardian. Parents/guardians may be asked to show ID when collecting children – please do not be offended it is for the safety of the children. For children making their own way to / from the programme we require an Unaccompanied Child form to be completed.

If your child requires any medications these must be signed in and given to our programme staff. A medical form must be completed and medication must be in its original packaging showing the child’s name and medicine type. All children that have an ongoing medical condition (e.g. nut allergy / asthma) must provide the programme with a current Medical/Allergy Management Plan.

Our programme is Nut Free so that we can include all children in a safe environment.

Children need to bring with them their lunch, snacks, refillable drink bottle, sunhat and raincoat each day. An SPF 30+ sunscreen will be provided by the YMCA and applied prior to outdoor activities Sept to April. If your child requires a specific sunscreen, please label it with your child’s name and send it along with your child each day. Please also ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the specific day’s activity.

We take due care with children’s belongings but accept no responsibility for lost or misplaced items. Please name your children’s belongings so any left behind items may be returned. All lost property will be held for 2 weeks after the programme before being donated to charity.

Not all advertised activities will run the full day – so each day we will have a variety of sports, games and art activities also on offer. If an advertised programme is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control we will run with an alternative programme.
