    Finance and Investment

    This fexible, part-time MSc programme starts inSeptember with a general induction session andcontinues every Tuesday and Thursday eveningbetween 18.00 21.00 in term one. In terms twoand three, modules may run on alternative days.

    In the rst and second terms o year one studentswill study a selection o core modules. Studentswill continue to study core modules during termone o year two, but in term two o year two theywill specialise in their chosen area o study byselecting two o three possible modules. In all,students are required to complete eight modules,as well as either ve electives and ResearchProject Management Skills, or a BusinessResearch Project and two electives.

    Students are oered the option o completingthe course in a shorter period o 18 months.

    The Mathematical Trading and Financecourse commences in September with aninduction, providing a general orientationto the School and the careers department.Also included is a reresher course inmathematics, statistics and Excel spreadsheetoperations. The course runs every Mondayand Friday evening between 18.00 21.00in year one. In year two students will insteadattend classes on Tuesday and Thursdayevenings. The course ends the ollowingJuly on completion o either ve electivesor two electives and a Business ResearchProject. Part-time students will take theirprogramme over a two-year period.
