We are an architectural design and project management company based in Newcastle upon Tyne, and located in the North East of England.
Our approach to architecture is to be creative, quirky and informative and precise.
We are able to draw upon over 30 years experience in the architectural environment.
• We demonstrate to potential clients, our experience in architectural design and our vast knowledge of the construction materials to be used on the building and internal finishes.
• We display variety and versatility within our wide range of projects for commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, community and ecclesiastical.

Architecture
The development of a full architectural design and this will include:
• The production of all drawings and detailing.
• Full planning submission of the scheme.
• Structural design development.
• Construction detailing.
• Consultancy supportive documents.
• Finalisation of a complete “Building Architectural Model” referred to by central Government as “BIM” Building Information Modelling.
• The preparation of the project pre-tender release.
• Submitting all plans for Building Regulations approval, all prior to site construction with compliance certification.

Project Management
• Tender issue for final construction costs.
• The preparation of a suitable construction contract.
• Contractor selection and tendering.
• CDM Construction Design Management appointment.
• Commencement of the construction on site.
• QS involvement for continual price checking and issuing of interim certificates for payment.
• On site management during the build programme.
• Final delivery of the project for use.
Value for Money
• Often we produce feasibility design options with full cost budgets to clearly define the project.
• We produce accurate design, very carefully specified for accurate pricing.
• Concise detailing for the benefit of the client/developer. Our standard approach to the use of BIM ensures we have all eventualities considered in the design.
• When required we use NBS specification detailing to RIBA schedules, this is dependent on the project in question and the levels of contract requirements.
• Our systematic approach to architecture, project management and site construction ensures the project is delivered within the programme set out and the budgets are maintained to complete customer satisfaction.

Northern Energy Consultants
• NEC are an associate company of MRM, and have a number of specifically chosen sustainable energy contractors.
• NEC facilitate the involvement of PV, Solar, Bio Mass, Heat Pumps, Heating Systems, Under Floor Heating, Specialist LED Lighting, Wind Turbine use, Sewage Treatment design and implementation.
• Site construction to particular standards.
• Certificates of performance for the above.
