UVA Imaging’s MRI technologists have extensive experience with claustrophobic patients and will provide support to ensure a successful exam. For safety and comfort, each patient is offered a call button, warm blankets, ear plugs or a selection of music, and the technologist can see the patient and communicate with them at all times during the exam.
