Mr. George Lowery was born January 24, 1936 in

Polkton, North Carolina. He was the son of the late

Randolph and Dorothy Sturdizant.

Mr. George was educated in the Angon County

School. He work at McEntire trucks for many.

Those left to cherish his memories: His daughters,

Erica (Authur Rax) Cook of Gilbert, SC ; grand

daughter: Destyee Jackson; grand sons: Catriez

Cook and DeAndre Cook all of Gilbert, SC; broth-

ers: Maurice (Elizabeth) Lowery of Waxhaw, NC

and William Lowery of Wadesesdoro, NC; sister:

Lillie Mae (Thomas) Swartz of North Carolina; step

children: Keisha McCoy, Dianna McCoy and Clar-

ence McCoy all of Columbia, SC; companion: Jer-

lean Dent and a host of aunts, uncles, grands, great

grands, cousins and friends.
