Make Believe, Melodies & Masterpiece Class! Tuesdays: 10-11am, Sept. 24- Oct 29, 2013 ages 2-4 yrs old (toddlers- pre-school) $195 / 6 weeks BOOKENDS Book Store, 211 E Ridgewood Ave
Make-believe is a wonderful thing! In the fun-filled Make-Believe Melodies & Masterpiece class, we’ll introduce children to a different literary theme each week. Some stories are: Dogs Don’t Do Ballet, Pets who Live at the MET, Tea Party with Eloise at the Plaza, and the very wild- Where The Wild Things Are! They’ll start the week meeting Lola, a friendly French Bulldog who loves Ballet, Opera & Art! After story-time and book discussion, we’ll move into the “Land of Make Believe”, where children will listen to Classical, Opera, even a little Jazz or Bob Marley! They may do a few pliés & dance around, or march in a parade and be Wild Things while accompanied by LIVE piano, flute or guitar music!!. Children will then start their Art Project based on our Story of the Day. (min # of children: 5, max # of children: 11)
