TheAvengerswas2012ssurprisehit,grossingover$1.5billion

basedonaperfectmixtureofwonderfulpromotion,greatword

ofmouth,beingreleasedamongstaselectionofpoorfilms,and,

ohyeah,thefactthatitsthesequeltonolessthan5record-

breakingblockbustermovies,twoofwhichfeaturedRobert

DowneyJrsTonyStark(threecountinghisIncredibleHulk
