  • Where we came from: grounded, founded, created • Grounded on a good base: the idea of creation protection started in Hungary in

    2008 by the document of the Hungarian Catholic Episcopal Conference on the protection of the created world called” Our Responsibility for The Created World” based on „… all things have been created through him and for him” (Col 1:16)

    • Founded in 2018, by Cardinal Péter Erdő to build a professional network of the Catholic society in Hungary and the Carpathian Basin.

    • Created for the goal to form a structured Catholic professional network that makes Christian values visible to society.

  • The Laudato Si’ Week 2020 in Hungary

    We are attending to the celebration of the five-year anniversary of the Laudato Si’ encyclical which is organised by: • the Consultants for Sustainable Development, • the Nettle Association, • the Care for Creation Protection Group of the Károli Gáspár

  • We extend the Laudato Si’ Week: Road to Sustainability

    Road to Sustainability Trip around Hungary In collaboration with the National Council for Sustainable Development (NCSD) we will visit mayor Hungarian cities to speak from the 3rd Progress Report of the National Sustainable Development Framework Strategy created by the NCSD. Based on the successful crisis management after the 2008-2009 crisis and the results of the subsequent growth round, this 3rd Progress Report proposes a sustainability turn (revolution) for Hungary in line with Pope Francis' urgent appeal for a new dialogue about the future of our planet.
