documents,whichmayincludeaTrustAgreement.ThesedocumentswilltellyouwhoisnominatedasPersonalRepresentativeand/orTrustee,inotherwords,whowillbeinchargeoftheestate/trustadministration.IfthedecedentdiedwithoutaWill,heorshewillbeconsideredtohavediedintestate,andstatelawwillcontrolwhocanactasPersonalRepresentativeandwhoisentitledtoinheritthedecedent’sprobateassets.

• Makeanappointmentwithanestateplanningattorneytodiscusstheadministrationoftheestateand/ortrust;youmaycontactthedecedent’sattorneyoranyattorneyofyourchoice.Theattorneywillexplainwhetheraprobateproceedingisnecessaryandwhetherafederaland/orstateestatetaxreturnisrequiredtobefiled.

• Donottakedistributions,acceptanybenefits,orcloseorretitleaccountsuntilyouhaveconsultedwithanattorney,asvariouspost-mortemplanningoptionsmaybelost.

InbaptismwearewelcomedintothefamilyofGod,thechurch.Itisthebeginningofourbaptismaljourney.ThegiftofbaptismcontinuesthroughoutaChristian’slifeoffaith.Theongoingnurtureofourfaithispartofthecongregation’sministriesofformation,education,service,andwitness.

Attheendofthatbaptismaljourney,atdeath,Godwalkswithus.Andthechurch,thefamilyofGod,istheretosurroundourlovedoneswithresurrectionhope.ThefuneralserviceisafinalcelebrationofGod’sfaithfulness:“ThanksbetoGod,whogivesusthevictorythroughourLordJesusChrist.”1Corinthians15:57
