  • Introduction to Karmic Astrology

The effects of past life experiences can carry over into your current life, accounting for interests, habits, even phobias which would defy explanation by conventional methods.

This report examines possible past life connections using astrological methods. It is not intended to betaken as a complete interpretation of your birth chart; it looks at your chart from only one perspective.

It is written in simple language, avoiding the use of astrological terms as much as possible. For the interestof students of astrology, relevant astrological references are made at the top of each section.

There are certain factors which indicate a need to seek further answers through past life regression. If youfind reference to this within your chart, you may discover that your spiritual growth will be enhanced byusing this method. (Note: Individuals with a number of these indicators in the chart have probably alreadyexperienced spontaneous regressions.)

Not all charts will indicate a need for regressions. If your report does not indicate such a need, then it ismost likely that discovering your past lives through regression is of little interest to you this time around.

    Thank you for your order!

  • Chapter 1: Most Important Prior Life Experiences

In traditional astrology, the Twelfth House represents your self-undoing, hidden matters and thesubconscious process. It is believed that we carry karmic memories in our subconscious, and that thesesubconscious memories can undermine our current life efforts.

When we remove the walls created by subconscious fears and guilt, we find that the path to personaltransformation lies beyond.

If, in your chapter you find a number of descriptions of planets placed in your twelfth house, considerexploring your hidden self through past life regression.

    12th house cusp in Sagittarius

You have a strong sense of morality which is not obvious to the outer world. You set very high standardsof personal conduct. You can be very harsh on yourself for even the slightest transgression. You maybecome overly optimistic about unsound ideas or projects.

Look for a significant prior lifetime where traditional religious beliefs were honored. Consider your currentattitudes towards traditional religion. Possible prior fields of endeavor include the ministry, or being part ofa religious governing body, aviation, merchant shipping, teaching or the legal profession.

    Sagittarius 12th House, Sagittarius Rising

You have a great deal of optimism and ambition. Mixed with your jovial, optimistic exterior is a certainamount of self-centeredness. Your prior life's religious inclinations have been replaced by a broaderphilosophical point of view.

  • Chapter 2: Saturn (The Great Teacher)

The source of many of our self-imposed restrictions can be found in theplacement of the planet Saturn. The location of Saturn in a horoscoperepresents the area of life where we have to learn the greatest lessons. It is through these lessons that we grow and improve.

Just like your least liked teacher in school, Saturn's lessons require hardwork and self-discipline. And like the lessons from that teacher,Saturn's lessons are not easily forgotten. The lessons you learn help youto find order and security in your current life.

When a lesson from a prior life was not learned, you can experience inexplicable guilt or self-restriction.Exploration of the unlearned lessons of Saturn can free you to use all of your natural talents.

    Saturn in 4th House

Real estate or family property can be a heavy burden for you. Family responsibilities restrict you fromachievement due to the energies spent caring for parents who in your youth were restrictive and possiblyundemonstrative.

There may be a parent from a prior life is a family member in this one, usually the opposite sex parent. Inyour prior life, this parent was either restrictive or unloving. In this life, you feel that you must maintaindistance in order to hold on to your personal freedom.

On the positive side, you can fulfill your family obligations out of love instead of a sense of obligation. Onthe negative side, you may avoid any family responsibilities to either your parents or your children, or youmay base your actions solely on convention or duty.

When you discover the nature of your distant feelings between you and your parent, you will be able toevaluate your attitudes toward your family obligations.

    Saturn Square Venus:

A sense of duty was the reason for maintaining partnerships in prior lifetimes. This time, you find it difficultto accept the gift of love and consequently may feel very lonely. When you learn to appreciate your lovedones for whom they are, you will diminish feeling of isolation. Much of your stress in this life comes fromrelationships, either family or work, and you tend to direct that stress inward.

    Saturn Trine Sun:

Duty to yourself and to others has been balanced in prior lifetimes, making you self-confident and assuredin this one. Your past life memories help you to be a natural leader. Your leadership always has a practicalnature, expressing your well-thought analysis of any problem. You work hard for all that you receive.

  • Chapter 3: Jupiter (Your Karmic Gifts)

Personal karma is not necessarily negative. You bring to this life certain talents and interest which enableyou to expand your horizons. Often overlooked for its karmic value, the placement of the planet Jupiter inyour chart can tell you about your karmic gifts.

Jupiter describes spiritual rewards as well as the area of your current life where you may experiencematerial gains.

The lesson of Jupiter is best described as the acceptance of the law of karma. The rewards you reap in thislife time come from your prior life's good deeds, and your future benefits (this life or another) are therewards of your present fair dealings and generosity.

    Jupiter in Libra

Fairness, justice and social harmony are your goals brought over froma prior life.

You are generous with your considerations of others' needs, so you arewell-liked. An ideal marriage for you would be with someone whoshares you sense of social justice. Your prior life spent promotingjustice and morality is expressed by your interest in religious charities, educational foundations and concern for the socially disadvantaged.

    Jupiter in 9th House

You love travel, foreign countries, higher education and philosophic thought. In a prior life you wereprominent in a traditional religious organization and your progressive and tolerant attitudes helped to bring asense of humanity to the organization. Your gift from the prior life is that of continued tolerance and broad-mindedness.

    Jupiter Sextile Venus:

Generosity to friends and partners in prior lifetimes has given you the opportunity to act positively inpersonal relationships in this lifetime. Since relationships are constantly changing, you understand the needto continue to work to improve your existing ones. Your sense of humor carries you through the roughpatches.

  • Chapter 4: Nodes of the Moon (Your Karmic Doorways)

The point on a horoscope chart called the North Node of the Moon is not actually a planet, but can bethought of as a doorway from your current life to your future. And, its opposite point (the South Node ofthe Moon) can be thought of as a doorway from your past life to your current one.

These two sensitive points can show you what goals you are concerned with in this life and what habitsfrom prior lives are holding you back from reaching those goals.

North Node of the Moon in Taurus

You have gone through extreme, sometimes violent, transformations in prior lives. This has left you with afeeling of being off balance, each crisis pulling the rug out from under you.

In a past life (or number of past lives), you have abused your talents and personal powers to the detrimentof those around you. This may have the effect of finding many people who express a violent dislike for youwithout any visible reason. They will appear whenever you allow your ego to rule your desires.

There are possible lifetimes spent as a revolutionary and most people with this placement have experiencedthe forces of witchcraft. Other possible past lifetimes were as detective, spy, researcher or alchemist.

Your stubborn traits from your past continue to haunt you. On the outside, you are friendly, peaceful andeasy going. Yet, let someone cross you and you unleash a sting with such intensity that you can frighteneven yourself.

In order to maintain balance between your two karmic doorways, learn to accept and harness the powerwithin. Focus on using your great inner resources to make this world a better place to live and, accept thatthe universe is abundant enough to provide for all your needs and then some.

  • Chapter 5: Planets in Retrograde (Reversed Energies)

Planets in a horoscope chart which are marked as being in retrograde motion, hide or reverse the trueenergy of that planet.

From a perspective of past life experiences, this usually means that some experience in a prior lifetime wasso negative that the individual refuses to use that planetary energy in any manner.

    Saturn Retrograde

You have a great deal of inner reserve. You are very serious about completing everything you start, sometimes when better judgment would recommend abandoning a project. You have always appearedmature beyond your years.

In a prior life, you avoided or were unable to fulfill your responsibilities, thus leaving many things undone orpartially complete.

Your lesson in this lifetime is complete your projects and live up to your responsibilities. You have a greatdeal of wisdom from prior life experiences which will help you to teach others the value of completion.

    Uranus Retrograde

Outwardly, you may look very conventional. Inwardly, you are unconventional. You may express youruniqueness through your ideas or your behavior. Your ideas are often so far into the future that others findyou difficult to understand. You may find it difficult to stay in one place for long, or at one job, or have thesame friends for long. You are in a constant state of flux, but it is directed to your inner (spiritual) being.

In a prior life, you may have exercised your freedom, without concern for the feelings or welfare of others. You may have been a revolutionary or just in the avant-garde.

Your lesson in this lifetime is to carry yourself and others forward, but with a gentler touch. Progress andadvancement can be achieved when people want it, not when it is forced upon them.
