MIDDLEBY NEW ACQUISITIONS

The Middleby Corporation Acquires Concordia Coffee Company, Inc. on

September 8, 2014.

The Middleby Corporation announced the acquisition of Concordia Coffee

Company, Inc. ("Concordia"), a leading manufacturer of automated and self-

service coffee and espresso machines serving the commercial food service

industry. Concordia has a highly innovative line-up of products that serve the

needs of a wide array of convenience store, hotel, restaurant chain, and

institutional customers.

The company is located in Seattle. "The acquisition of Concordia expands and

complements Middleby's growing portfolio of brands and innovative equipment

solutions serving the beverage category," said Selim A. Bassoul, Chairman and

CEO of The Middleby Corporation. "Coffee is an important and profitable

category for many of our customers. Concordia has a rich history of innovation,

technology, and passion for great coffee. The fully automated espresso

machines of Concordia provide for thousands of beverage

combinations that are served with consistency and speed,

while at the same time providing for the highest beverage

quality. Concordia's newest product innovation due to

launch in the upcoming months, the Ascent, offers an on-

demand brewed coffee one cup at a time with first cup

freshness every time and zero waste. We are excited

to offer these innovative solutions to a broadened

Middleby customer base and anticipate we will

realize significant sales growth at the

few of our global and local customers in India and towards the end of it they also had an

awards ceremony where we were voted & Awarded as the

The jury consisted of top chefs, restaurant operators and consultants. This is a great

achievement for us in our first year itself post acquisition and we must congratulate the

service team in particular that was able to make waves at this event and fetched us the

award.

Guinness World's Record for the Largest Calzone using a Middleby

Marshall WOW OVEN!

Middleby Marshall has set yet another world record this time by cooking the world's biggest calzone.

This record was seen at a charity fund raiser event where the oven cooked this calzone, it weighed 96 kgs and was 23 feet long.

We had last registered a record in the Guinness book by cooking the 168 eighteen inch pizzas in one hour.

Middleby Marshall completed its 125 years of existence last year and the plant in Elgin, IL still is located where it was in 1888 when the company was founded.

During our quasquicentennial celebration the Mayor of the city named the street where the factory is located as Middleby Way.

Besides being number one in pizza business Middleby Marshall also is now number one in casual dining as we have installed over 5000 ovens in the past 3 years ever since we launched the Kitchen of the future program for Chilis restaurants worldwide.
