 OUR  MISSION

M.O.S.A.I.C.  Volunteers  is  a  Muslim  directed  organizaAon  within  Canada  created  for  conAnuous  youth  engagement,  training,  community  building  and  charitable  acAviAes

 OUR  OBJECTIVES

M.O.S.A.I.C.  is  a  non-‐profit  volunteer  organizaAon.  Its  main  goal  is  to  provide  opportuniAes  for  youth  to  obtain  training  and  experience  in  a  planned  voluntary  training  program.

Our  focus  is  to  develop  stronger  Aes  in  the  Muslim  community  while  working  and  integraAng  with  the  greater

community.

Since  2008,  M.O.S.A.I.C.  has  been  helping  Muslims  discover  the  spirit  of  volunteerism.  In  this  short  Ame  it  has  already  built  roots  into  many  of  Calgary's  most  prominent

non-‐profit  and  community  organizaAons.  In  the  near  future  MOSAIC  hopes  to  become  an  integral  part  of

Muslim  idenAty  and  Calgary  and  help  create  a  posiAve  self-‐percepAon  of  Muslims,  as  well  as  improve  their  image  and

integraAon  in  their  respecAve  communiAes.

As  the  M.O.S.A.I.C.  ExecuAve  team,  we  are  privileged  to  honour  excepAonal  individuals  in  the  community  who  make  a  difference  and  live  up  to  M.O.S.A.I.C.’s  legacy.  It  is  because  of

volunteers  like  you  that  MO.S.A.I.C.  is  able  to  conAnuously  strive  towards  achieving  its  goal  of  serving  the  greater  community  of  Southern  Alberta.  Over  the  course  of  the  year,  we  have  successfully  connected  218  volunteers  with  over  50  volunteer  events  to  contribute  over  2,218  hours  towards  beVering  the  Calgary  community!  We  graciously  thank  all  the

volunteers  for  their  efforts,  and  hope  to  give  special  recogniAon  to  those  who  go  above  and

beyond  for  their  community.
