Principal’s Message
Can you believe it that we are nearly in December ! Where has the year gone? It has been
another sensational term of great teaching and wonderful learning, musical experiences,
camp, excursions, incursions, sport finals and citizenship events and recognition.
CITIZENSHIP AWARDS
The Rotary Club of Burwood held their 23rd Primary Schools Annual Citizenship Awards. The
awards were in recognition of outstanding qualities of:
Leadership;
Positive Attitudes
Co-operation
Reliability and Trust
Caring
Consideration for others
The awards were held on Monday 23 November, 2015.
Congratulations to Ashlyn and Christopher for their recent nomination at the Burwood Rotary
Club ceremony.
Congratulations to the Mortlake students who participated in the Concord High School
’ Head Start’ program.
OH WHAT A CONCERT!
Congratulations to Kathy and her outstanding vocal group of students for a wonderful
concert.
Ashlyn & Christopher
Congratulations Junior T Ballers on their sensational
win on Friday. The score was 16-11. The team were down 8-6
(and were one player short) but with determination and
composure they played as a team, and won the final innings
convincingly. A very special thank you to Ms De Bari, for her
outstanding coaching and encouragement of her team
throughout the season. Thank you to the parents who
encouraged the students to “dig deep” and “stay focused “at
the pivotal times during the finals.
Keep smiling.
