Absolutely!
Last year, in conjunction with Jennifer Delcourt, MPH - Active Routes to School Regional Coordinator with Wake County (copied here), the Director and several staff members of Sterling Montessori, both the Principal and Vice Principal of Cedar Fork Elementary and their PTA president, staff from Treybrooke Apartment Homes and our now mayor TJ Cawley, participated in the Cedar Fork and Sterling Walkability Assessment. This was prompted by an unsafe climate for walkers to both schools, parking on Treybrooke Dr. and other concerns.
We would like to speak with the committee to address the issues we designated as potential action items to help alleviate the issues found.
