welcome to tfp schemesTFP Schemes was established in 1998 to takeadvantage of a gap in the Niche Motor Marketwith the sole aim of providing a long term solutionto a difficult class of business; then trading as TaxiFleet Plus, we operated as a specialist wholesaleunderwriting facility for public and private hirefleet risks.

After several successful years trading in fleet risks and inresponse to continued requests for additional products TaxiFleet Plus rebranded to TFP Schemes and expanded itsunderwriting footprint in 2006 to include single taxi andchauffeur risks.

In 2007 we were pleased to launch our broker only “TFPSolo”, a bespoke client management system, providing fullcycle functionality for all UK brokers to place niche motorrisks. As a result of these developments in 2008 TFP wereawarded the “Wholesale Intermediary of the year” at theprestigious UK broker awards.

In 2011 TFP Schemes were chosen by Aviva to administerand distribute their Aviva Taxi book and in 2013 confirmedas the sole distribution channel for Aviva’s taxi businessreaffirming our long established and valued partnership.

More recently we have launched several additional nicheproducts which include Motor Trade Road Risks, Truck MiniFleet, Special Types, Agricultural Vehicles and Multi Vehiclefor both the Taxi and Truck market all supported by ourlong term capacity provider Aviva Insurance for whom weprovide a range of products on their Aviva Marketplace on-line portal. All new business written via TFP, via Marketplaceor Fast Trade contributes towards most Aviva deals.

In 2017 TFP Schemes were delighted to join the PIB Group.This exciting change saw us continue with our long termgoal in minting our position as a major force in the NicheMotor Market and providing our intermediary partners withan even wider product range which included a BusinessMini Fleet product underwritten by Covea.
