SEVILLE
The huge Cathedral with the famous Giralda is an absolute must for every visitor. In the South of the Cathedral rises the Alcázar (Moorish palace), a magnificent building, which is closely linked with the lives of several famous rulers. The Barrio Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter of the city, offers delightful places that are lushly planted with flowers and orange trees.
CORDOBA
Cordoba is a city for strolling. It is a pleasure to walk through the maze of the old town, where the Mezquita is located in its center. With its gorge-ous, red-yellow arches the Mezquita is one of the most sublime Islamic monuments. Or you stroll through the narrow streets of the Judería (the former Jewish quarter) with its little squares and flower-filled patios. The Medina Azahara is also worth visiting, it is the most impressive archaeo-logical site of Andalusia approximately 8 km west of Córdoba. It was built between 936 and 945 by Abd ar-Raman III. The excavations have so far opened only 1/10 of the site.
GRANADA
Granada is famous for the amount of historic buildings from Moorish, Gothic and Renaissance periods. The city is world renowned for its nume-rous guitar makers. The most remarkable buildings of Granada from the Moorish period belong to the fortress of Alhambra (from Al-hamra-u: „The red one“). It is a set of palaces, the largest secular facility of its kind in Spain, that were used as the residence of the Moorish Kings in the 13th and 14th century. The Alhambra is famous for its stucco ceiling and the lion fountain. Alhambra and Albaicín, the former Moorish residential area, are world cultural heritage of UNESCO.

FES The city „Medinat Fas“ was founded in 798 by Moulay Idris on a site that is today called the Andalusian quater. In the course of its history, Fes has been the capital of the country for several dy-nasties and is therefore considered one of the four royal cities of Morocco. This example of an ancient oriental city has been a World Heritage Site since 1981, under the protection of UNESCO. Its deep blue pottery is considered the symbol of Fes.
MARRAKECH Marrakech is a word from the Berber language and possibly means „The land of God.“ The name „Morocco“ for the entire country was derived from the city name Marrakech. Because of the large number of architecturally significant buil-dings, such as the Koutoubia Mosque from the year 1162, the Kasbah of the 12th c. and the Ben-Jusuf Medersa from the 14th c., the old town became a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1985. The main attraction of the city is the Djemaa el Fna square, the world-famous medieval market and execution site. Today it is a lively place with food stalls, oriental storytellers, snake char-mers and jugglers.
RABAT Rabat is the capital and third largest city of the Kingdom of Morocco. Relaxed, well-kept and very European, flag-waving Rabat is just as cosmo-politan as Casablanca down the coast, but lacks the frantic pace and grimy feel of its economic big brother. Its elegant tree-lined boulevards and imposing administrative buildings exude an unhur-ried, diplomatic and hassle-free charm that many travellers grow to like.
THE HIGH ATLAS The High Atlas rises from the west by the Atlantic Coast and runs eastwards until the Moroccan-Al-gerian border. On the Atlantic end the Sous valley falls steeply to the southwest and forms a striking contrast to the northern coast and the Anti-Atlas. It is also a major barrier to the weather, sheilding northern Morocco from the hot Saharan summers to the south. The highest peak, the Mount Toub-kal, rises to about 4100m.

Day 6: Cordoba - Granada
Although today‘s program is dominated by a visit to the Alhambra, one of the most important of Spain‘s cultural heritage sites, we still make sure we get our fair share of biking pleasure. Our route takes us over beautiful mountain passes, through olive groves, past poppy fields and lakes before approaching the high plateau of Granada.
Day 7: Granada - Malaga
We leave Granada in order to fully enjoy the magnificent region of the Sierra Nevada. Away from the traffic with the Mediterranean Sea in sight we start our descent along the steep winding roads to Malaga.
Day 1: Arrival in Málaga
Arrival at Malaga airport and transfer to the hotel. Introductions over dinner with Spanish wine while giving us an opportunity to discuss our tour.
Day 2: Malaga - Marbella - Ronda
Along the coastal road of the Costa del Sol we ride towards Marbella. From here we climb into the Sierra de Ronda, where amazing views over the Mediterranean surprise us before we reach the city of Ronda itself in the evening. One of Spain‘s oldest Bullrings opened here in 1785, the city itself is located on the 100 m deep El Tajo Gorge and is achieved via the impressive bridge Puente Nuevo.
Day 3: Ronda - Arcos de la Frontera - Sevilla
Ronda is surrounded by a number of smaller mountain ranges such as the Sierra de Grazalema with its famous Puerto Paloma. They provide us with magnificent landscapes and streets, and are the perfect playground for
our bikes. Curves, grippy asphalt and beautiful views of the white villages of Andalusia bring us to Arcos de la Frontera and later to Seville, the today‘s stage.
Day 4: Rest day in Seville
The capital of Andalusia is also the most fascinating city in this region. It‘s hard to escape her unique charm: Seville is elegant, historic and proud, but also welcoming hospitable, comfortable and alive. The huge Cathedral with its famous Bell Tower, the Giralda, is just one of many sites that we discover today.
Day 5: Sevilla - Sierra Morena - Cordoba
Our route takes us further into the rugged mountains and canyons of the Sierra Morena. The beautiful street in this nature park in the North of Andalusia is quite unique and leads us towards Cordoba, once the capital of the Moorish Empire during the political and cultural heyday.

EckDaten der Tour :
Day 14: Rabat - Malaga
We take an early picture at the Hassan Tower, Rabat´s iconic landmark, before we leave the city and ride briskly to cross the north western part of Morocco and head directly for the bor-der. From here we cross the straits of Gibraltar to Algeciras and our Morocco adventure comes gradually to an end as we arrive at our starting point in Malaga.
Day 15: Return journey
Note: We reserve the right to make minor changes to the tour.
Day 8: Malaga - Tanger - Chefchaouen
We ride at the Costa del Sol along the medi-terranean coastline towards Tarifa. The African continent can be reached from here without delay by crossing the straits of Gibraltar by ferry to Tanger.
Here in the north of Morocco green is still the dominant color as we take winding roads to pass fields and forests towards the Rif moun-tains. In the evening we reach Chefchaouen, “the blue pearl”, whose architecture is still reminiscent of the lovely villages of Andalusia.
Day 9: Chefchauen - Fes
On our first entire day of driving on African ground, we enjoy the rolling hills of the Rif Mountains. The terrain is perfect for our motorcycles and offers a fantastic atmosphere in which we taste sheer driving pleasure at its best. Behind the Rif mountains we reach the vibrant city of Fes, the first of the imperial cities of Morocco that we visit. Also called the „Mecca of the West“ and the „Athens of Afri-ca“, Fes has the worlds biggest medina, called Fas el Bali, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 10: Fes - Atlas Mountains
Today we expect a long and very varied day with impressive scenery. We reach the high plains of central Morocco, where the vastness and beauty of this country emerges, while on
the horizon the first foothills of the High Atlas appear. The track leads us westward and we reach our destination, an ancient village nes-ted in the heart of the Middle Atlas where we will spend the night.
Day 11: Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
The area we cross today is rich in cultural and architectural heritage: Zaouias, Kasbahs, fortified villages and well known for its souks, the weekly markets. By sunset we arrive in „Morocco‘s biggest oasis“ called Marrakech. Known as the „Pearl of the South“ or “The Red City” many consider Marrakech to be Morocco‘s most beautiful city due to its dis-tinct oriental flair.
Day 12: Marrakech
Rest day in Marrakech, the second of the im-perial cities of Morocco that we visit.
Day 13: Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat
We leave Marrakech and take the road towards Casablanca at the beginning of todays route. The morning ride provides us with a worthy environment for motorcycling with its long straight sections full of sheer riding pleasure under Palm Tree alleys.
Seafood and beautiful tracks make our day in the afternoon as we reach the coastline at Casablanca from where we ride towards Rabat, Morocco´s capital and the third imperial city that we visit on this tour.
