• I studied my initial ideas to try and remember where I had gone before with this idea in terms of visuals and now I have done some mood board research Mixing in old and new ideas.

• I am still finding designing the creature difficult.

• But I’m hoping these studies and self studies will help.

• For this piece I was thinking of using grey tones and my initial thoughts went to rain and how dark cities feel when the skies are clouded over.

• I think I will consider some colour but it depends on the creature, one option I was considering was a colour changing creature. That camouflages or stands out against the cold greys.

• I’m also thinking of experimenting with shadows and silhouettes.

• I want the city to feel big, and as much of a sensory overload as it gives me, a towering feeling, very clustered and noisy.

• I’m also thinking of using warps and blurs to add to these feelings
