GHETTO GOLF
On 16 November 2017, we held an event for the first time at the amazing Ghetto Golf. This sold-out event provided our members with the chance to test their putting skills and to celebrate (or commiserate!) over burgers and drinks. The evening was very kindly sponsored by Think Legal. (Click the link for more information on the services they provide) We were also able to raise a further £70 for our nominated charity, Clatterbridge.

glamorous day-to-day in the law!
5. What is your favourite thing about
being on the MJLD Committee, and which
has been your favourite event?
I’m really enjoying the opportunity to
follow on from the great work of
previous committees and continue with
growing our membership and our reach
among young legal professionals in
Merseyside. My favourite event to date
was last year’s annual charity ball – our
planning for next year’s ball is already
well underway behind the scenes, and
it’s looking like it could be our biggest
yet – stay tuned for further details!
Ultra White Collar Boxing for Cancer Research Earlier this month
we told you about MJLD member Joseph Morgan who is raising money
for Cancer Research UK.
I am training with Ultra White Collar Boxing to fight in a charity boxing
match at the Liverpool Olympia on 2nd December 2017! I am doing this
to raise money for Cancer Research UK. If you would like to help
towards this great charity, a couple of quid would be very much

Clatterbridge Fundraising We would like to say a huge thank you to all of those who have
donated to help us raise funds for the new Clatterbridge
hospital in the heart of Liverpool. We were in top 1% of
JustGiving donors for October and we are now over 30%
towards our target of £6,000!
