On November 25th and 26th
teachers will meet with parents
for a semi-annual formal confer-
ence. Registration for confer-
ences will take place at carpool
or online. Teachers will try to
schedule parents of multiple
students first.
Primary and Lower Elementary
students do not participate in
conferences and childcare will
be provided from 9:00am—3:00pm
for them while their parents
attend conferences. There will
be no classes for students.
Upper Elementary students (4th-
6thgrade) participate in their
conferences. Adolescent stu-
dents (7th-8th grade) lead their
own self evaluations and report
out to their parents and teach-
ers.
Child Care is complimentary while
parents meet with teachers and/or
volunteer after school.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
On the Saturday before Hallow-
een we celebrate with a spooky
day full of tricks, treats, fun, food
and games. Parents, staff and
students dress up and decorate
their cars for Trunk-or-Treating.
The 6th graders’ rescheduled
their haunted trail due to the
weather but the Adolescents’
haunted house, ‘Nightmare
Scare,” went off without a hitch.
Highlights of the day were cap-
tured in this video and included
a coffee “bar,” taco vendor,

staff with a token of their appreciation. If you would like to help with the
planning or collection for this event, please join us at our next PA Meeting

For the health and safety of our staff, when it is raining or the wind chill

The Montessori School of Lemont is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has been edu-
cating children ages 3 through 8th grade for almost 50 years based on the methods and
philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. The school was established in 1972 by teachers dedi-
cated to offering families an individualized educational approach for their children. The
school relocated to Lemont in 1990. In 2001, the school moved to its permanent location
after the construction of a new campus on 7.5 acres of donated land. In 2010, a third build-
ing was completed to accommodate the growing enrollment and in 2011, a natural play-
ground and an organic community garden were created. Funds are currently being raised to
improve and grow our campus.
MSOL does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sexual orientation or national or ethnic origin.
