CITADELA FORTRESS
Description
Medieval of the town Budva, dedicated to St. Mary,castle
better known as Citadela, is the most monumental archi-
tectural object within the town walls of Budva. This complex
building is architecturally utterly autonomous and presents
one of the most significant fortification objects dating from
the Middle Ages on the Montenegro Coast. Within the com-
plex there are fortification walls, remains of the medieval
church of St. Mary, gates, several plateaus and buildings of
the former barracks. The located on the first floor presents with its ambience andrestaurant
private dining areas an ideal place for private gatherings including high quality cuisine and
special service. Attached to the restaurant there is a spacious terrace on the eastern tower
with a stunning view of Saint Nicholas Island and the open sea. Citadela contains one of the most
valuable collections of books and maps dedicated to the Balkans, in private ownership. In
functional unity with the library there is a spacious . During the tourist season fine artGallery
exhibitions, concerts and museum presentations are organized. The space of Citadela is also
available for the projects of Budva festival, Grad Teatar Budva - Theatre City. The southwest
of the complex contains on three levels, which have preserved the rusticluxurious apartments
style and original features of architecture. Immediately next to the apartments there is a look-
out with the view of the whole town of Budva on one side and its loveliest beaches on the
other side.

It features a restaurant, coffee bar and terrace with sunbathing lounges.

Description
The palace development of Nikola I Petrovi in Bar, built in 1885, is sić -tuated on the Bar waterfront. The central building of the developmentis Grand Palace, a building constructed in the residential building styleof that time. Its west-side wall was annexed in 1910 by a spacious, re-ctangular-base ballroom with rounded corners. Each angle of the GrandPalace fence wall, facing the sea, features a hexagonal guard-tower withpointed-arch windows. The palace known as Small Palace is considerably smaller in size com-paring to Grand Palace. Winter Garden, a gift from the Italian king , is adjaVittorio Emanuele -cent to the palace park. The facility comprises a metal glass-covered structure with decorativeart nouveau details, and is the only monument structure of its kind in Montenegro. Description
The XVIII century baroque palace, which is home to the Mari-Grgurina
time Museum of Montenegro, is situated in the central part of the Old
Town of Kotor, at the address: Trg 391. The exhi-Bokeljske mornarice
bition area of this cultural institution is divided into three floors, namely:
- ground floor, with six bronze relief plaques in the entrance hall,
showing the most significant events and the most prominent
figures from the past of (the Bay of Kotor). In the next room, dedicatedBoka Kotorska
to disabled persons, the photos of the Maritime Museum's exhibits are displayed on a
large plasma screen, and visitors can use audio guides in six foreign languages.
- the first floor consists of five separate exhibition rooms, namely: the central hall featur-
ing historical maritime period from XVI to XVIII century, salons of captain families Florio
and Ivelic from XIX century, ethnographic section, and the room with historic arms.
- the second floor is also divided into five rooms - the central hall featuring maritime tech-
nique collection from XVII and XIX centuries, section on the well-known 12-century-old
brotherhood of the Boka Navy, section on the World Wars I and II, maritime school edu-
cation and Montenegrin maritime, and the room dedicated to steam-shipping and the

In the summer time, the Maritime Museum's working hours are from 08:00 to 22:00, and the mus-
eum is open year-around for individual visitors and organised groups as well as for high dele-
gations of various countries. The museum regularly organises book promotions, painting ex-
hibitions, concerts, and marks important events. In the summer months, the first floor terrace
is also at disposal for organising occasional cocktails.

An Olympic-size swimming pool by the sea is the main venue for

The Wine Cellar was opened in late 2007. It is placed in the hearthŠipčanikof the largest vineyard in a single complex in the entire Europe, spanningacross 2,310 hectares with 11 million grapevines of both local and worldfamous varieties. The cellar is placed at an average depth of over 30 me-ters. It has the shape of a tunnel, 356 meters long, with an average widthof 13.5 meters, 7 meters high. The air temperature ranges between 17 and19 degrees, with 70-80% humidity. Wine is kept and ageing in this cellar across nearly 7,000square meters, in almost ideal and fully natural conditions in terms of climate and technology.Two million litres of wine age and mature in wooden barrels and bottles. The cellar includes awine shop with 28,000 bottles of wines up to ten years old, a tasting room of 200 square me-ters and a specialised shop. The tasting room is 50 seats in capacity and fully equipped withregard to technology (microphones, PA system, 2 LCDs, a projector, a screen, a laptop), thusbeing an ideal venue for meetings, seminars and conferences. In addition to conferences, se-minars and presentations, it is also possible to organise buffet cocktails in the cellar for up to700 persons, waiter service inclusive for the duration of the cocktail.

The oldest theatre in Montenegro, dating back to 1888, is situated
in the centre of the historic town of Cetinje, 30 kilometres away
from Podgorica and 27 kilometres away from Budva. Built accord-
ing to all theatre principles of that time (by architect Josip Slade,
PhD, the author of the Sibenik theatre design) and equipped with
furnishings from Vienna, Budapest and Trieste, re-Zetski dom
sembled the European chamber theatres, and had all the features
typical of its time: an imperial box, a ceiling with paintings de-
picting muses, etc. After some turbulent periods, the building was
restored, stage physically widened and supplied with state-of-the-
art scene properties to host all kinds of theatre plays.
