Montego Bay Animal Haven

was founded in 2009 to raise awareness of the plight of animals in Jamaica.

The Haven's primary aim is to rescue animals who are abandoned and starving and re-homed to

responsible, loving new owners.

At present the Haven is operating from a private home a situation which is far from ideal. In time we

hope to generate enough support financially and otherwise to secure a more suitable site.

We also aim to educate! We are spreading the message through to the next

generation by going into schools to teach youngsters the value and responsibility of animal

ownership.

Every animal that arrives here has a particular story. We give all of them care and love. Our rescues are home trained, children friendly, vaccinated and spayed/neutered. Here’s some of them!

Chi CHI was found in a street when was a small puppy. She has so much love to give!

CHANCE

was found being used as a soccer ball. She’s a loving dog ready for her forever home!

MISS B was abandoned. She’s a very smart girl, looking for a special person to love her!

If you think about getting a dog please consider adopting a rescue dog! You’ll save a life and find a

wonderful friend!

You may also consider sponsoring one of our rescues! You’ll help us to take care of an animal in need!

The Haven is entirely a voluntary organisation, relying on volunteers and donations to continue our work. All money received directly benefits animals in need of care.

Thank you so much for your support. If you have any question please do not

hesitate to contact us!
