From the Bride… My fiancé Eric and I knew we wanted an intimate, beautiful pronovias altafulla and meaningful ceremony to celebrate our marriage and family. Determining the ceremony location was harder than I thought it would be, until my wedding planner gave me the best advice: “Close your eyes, and tell me where you see yourself exchanging your vows with Eric.” From there, we ended up at our family home in Montecito,

California, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It was absolutely perfect and where we were meant to be. We knew wanted a day that was elegant and beautiful but not too stuffy or formal since we are both pretty laid-back people. We worked together as a team throughout the entire planning process with our wedding planner to make decisions that best represented us. We set the overall tone and feeling with our beautiful pronovias altea letterpress stationery by The Pink Orange, incorporating colors that were bold, crisp and clean, from our save-the-date to our amazing invitation that set the mood for our gorgeous dinner celebration at San Ysidro Ranch following our ceremony. I have never been a huge “flower person” and was completely in love with all the succulents Mindy Rice incorporated throughout the entire day.

When guests arrived to the house they were greeted with a signature “Kumquat Champagne Sparkler” cocktail created by our planner that used fresh kumquats picked from trees on the property! Our ceremony was perfect, even as the clouds came rolling in, and one of my favorite moments was seeing our son make his way down the aisle to us escorted by our harpist playing “It’s a Small World!” I wanted to make certain I didn’t miss him coming down the aisle so we all entered before him and he came down the aisle last … it was awesome! As we entered the wine cellar terrace at San Ysidro Ranch, it was like we walked into our very own fairytale … everything was simply perfect! From the individual potted succulent place cards to the custom-embroidered chair backs that mirrored The Pink Orange design from our stationery suite. The music by acoustic guitarist, Nikhi Korula, was exactly our style and set the mood. We even had a first dance to one of favorite songs he learned just for us! It was magical. We feel so lucky to have been introduced to so many talented and amazing vendors by Katie O and love all of the amazing pronovias amanda images and video by Clark+Walker Studio captured as it absolutely expresses the love and energy that was present to us that day for our family and friends.
