• Thosewithhistoryofheartdisease,low/highbloodpressure,circulatorysystemproblemsordiabetesshouldconsultadoctorbeforeusingCleverSpa®.PeopleusingmedicationshouldconsulttheirdoctorbeforeusingtheCleverSpa®.Somemedicationsmaycausedrowsiness,whilstothermedicationmayaffectheartrate,bloodpressureandcirculationduringuse.

• WaterinaCleverSpa®shouldneverexceed42°C (107°F).Operatingtemperaturesbetween38-40OC (100-104°F)areconsideredsafeforahealthyadult.Lowertemperaturesarerecommendedforyoungerchildren,andwhenuseexceeds10continuousminutes.

• Amaxtemperatureof42OCcanbeprogrammedforthewater-Oncecoverisremoved,watertemperaturewillautomaticallydropasheatisreleasedthroughevaporation.Theadditional2OCcompensatesforheatlossthatmayoccur.Onceyouarereadytouse,reducemaximumtemperaturetorecommended38-40OC(100-104°F)andensurethattemperaturereadingisnogreaterthan40OC.

• ImmediatelygetoutofyourCleverSpa®ifyoufeeluncomfortableorsleepy.

• DonotturnCleverSpa®onwhenitisempty.Thiscouldcauseirreparabledamagetopumpsystemwhichwouldnullifyanywarrantyperiod.

• Toavoiddamagingyourpump&heatingsystemduringcolderweather,yourCleverSpa®isfittedwith365 FreezeGuardTechnology.Setthetemperatureto5OC,andthiswillpreventanywaterinthesystemfromfreezing.

• Alwaysaddchemicalstojugofwatertoavoidstrongfumesorviolentreactionsthatmayresultinahazardouschemicalspray.

• Toavoidaccidentalresettingofthermalcut-out,thisappliancemustnotbesuppliedthroughanexternalswitchingdevice,suchasatimer,orconnectedtoacircuitthatisregularlyswitchedonandoffbytheutility.

DISTANCE FROM HOUSE

1. You must have solid support foundation where you install your CleverSpa®. When setting up, ensure there are no sharp objects that could damage the CleverSpa® and the location is level so the CleverSpa® sits properly.

2. During filling, emptying or when in use, water may spill out. You should install it near to a drainage point that is able to accept the total volume of water.

3. Do not leave the surface of the CleverSpa® exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time as this may affect the strength of the welds.

Before setting up outdoors1. Floor must be able to withstand

weight of the CleverSpa® + occupants.

2. Floor should be a non-slip, level surface.

3. Suitable drainage is essential when installing your CleverSpa® indoors.

Carefully consider the placement of your hot tub before installation.

CorrectinstallationofyourLEDlightsisextremelyimportant.Failuretofollowinstructionscarefullymayresultintheirearlyfailure.CorrectinstallationwillensuretheystayworkingeverytimeyouuseyourCleverSpa®.

Ensurelightsarenotinstalledtootightly,theymustbefittedloosely,withfreedomtomovebetweentheretention

loopsonthebaseofthehottubtoallowthelightingstriptoexpandwhenfilledwithwater.

Allowsomeexcessstripacrosseachgap,thiswillreducestressonthelighting.

Failure to do this can reduce the lifespan of your lighting. Please see image below.

1. Connect lighting system together as shown on page 8.

2. Remove plastic tape from the battery compartment on the remote.

3. Turn lights on with the power button.

If colours pressed on the remote are activating incorrect colours on the light strip:

1. Ensure the lights are turned on using the red power button.

2. Press the solid Green button once.

3. Switch off the ‘Power’ at the mains for 5 seconds then turn back on.

4. Press and hold the solid green button immediately after turning on.

5. Release the button when the colour changes.

6. Wait 5 seconds for the change to take effect.

Press‘SET TEMP/LOCK’andthenumbersondisplayscreenwillstarttoflash.Increase/decreasetemperaturebypressing‘TEMP UP’ or‘TEMP DOWN’.

Choosedesiredtemperature,press‘SET TEMP/LOCK’againtoconfirm.Temperaturescanbesetbetweentherangeof5°C to 42°C.

(See safety instructions for recommended operating temperatures).

INFLATE/AIR JETS

Press‘INFLATE/AIR JETS’tostartairjets-aredlightwillappear.Pressagainandairjetswillstopworking-redlightwillgoout.

Airjetsstopautomaticallyafter20minutes.Toreset,waitfor10minutesandpress‘INFLATE/AIR JETS.Airjetscanbestopped/startedanytimeduringtheir20minutecycle.

Air Jets will stop after 20 minutes to avoid internal pump over-heating.

Whenwaterfalls1°Cbelowpre-settemperature,heatingsystemwillautomaticallyheatwaterbackto1°C above selectedtemperature.Onceachieved,heaterwillstoptoallowtemperaturetosettleatpre-setvalue.

Legionnaires’diseasecanbecontractedbyinhalingsmalldropletsofwater(calledaerosols),whicharesuspendedintheairandcontainthebacteria.CertainconditionsincreasetheriskofLegionellaif:

HOW TO EMPTY YOUR CLEVERSPA®

1. RemoveCleverSpa®plugfromelectricalmains.

2. Unscrewcapfromwateroutlet(L)belowpumpsystemofCleverSpa®.EnsureDrainagePlug(G)isstillinsertedtopreventunexpecteddraining.

3. Screwinflationhose(D)ontothewateroutlet(L)anddirectopenendofhoseappropriately.

4. RemovedrainageplugfromoutletwithinfloorofCleverSpa®,sowatercanflowout.

5.Oncedraineduseaspongetoabsorbexcesswater;thenoperateairjetfunctionforupto20minutes(onefullcycle)todrainanywateranddryoutthepipeline.Ifnotcompletelydryafterfirstcycle–repeat.

6.Whendraininghasfinished,removeinflationhose(D)andreplacedrainageplug(G)andwateroutletcap(L).

HOW TO DEFLATE YOUR CLEVERSPA®

1. Locatetheblacktwo-partairvalve(seepoint9on‘settingupyourCleverSpa®).

2.Fullyunscrewandremoverapiddeflationairvalvebyturninganti-clockwise(K).

3. Foldhottubawaycarefullytoremoveasmuchairaspossiblethroughtheopenvalve.

STORING YOUR CLEVERSPA®

MakesureallwateriscompletelydrainedfromtheCleverSpa®andpumpsystem.ThisisvitalinextendingthelifeofyourCleverSpa®.Werecommendtheuseofawet/dryvacuumtohelpblowout/suckupwaterfrompipesandpumplines.Removefiltercartridge.

CleverSpa®shouldbeplacedinbagprovidedandstoredinadryplace,raisedofffloorandawayfromextremetemperatures.

Please note:Whennotinuse,storeinaplacethatisdryandamoderatetemperature,assubzerotemperaturescanseverelydamageyourCleverSpa®.

CLEANING THE WATER FILTER CARTRIDGE & MESH FILTER

IfusingyourCleverSpa®2-3timesperweek,changeyourfilterevery2weekstomaintainbestperformance.

1.Removefilterprotectorcover(C)thenremovefiltercartridge(B).

2.Filtercartridgecanberinsedunderacoldtapandreused.Iffiltercartridge remainssoiled/discoloured-replace.Ifholesarepresentinpaperfilteror paperisnoticeablyworn,replacefilterwithanewone.WeDO NOT recommenduseofpressurisedwatertocleananyCleverSpa®filters.

3.Replacefilterprotectorcover(C)overfiltercartridge(B)andattachtofilterconnector(N)byturningitclockwise.
