D K Press Release 19 April 2018 MONTANA WINS FRAME AWARD IN MILAN Winner in the category: Best Use of Colours Yesterday Montana Furniture won the prestigious FRAME Awards in Milan honouring Salone del Mobile's best stands. Montana won in the category: Best Use of Colour. The stand was designed by Helena Laursen, Architect and Head of Spatial Designs at Montana Furniture. The FRAME Award sets the international standard for spatial design excellence and features four categories: Best Use of Colour, Best Use of Light, Best Use of Material and Trade-fair Stand of the Year. A Cathedral of Colour A dominant feature of Montana's stand is tall, reaching arches build of shelving modules in the colour Moulin Rouge, which gives the space an ambience that hints to a cathedral of colour. The colour scheme focuses primarily on reds and pinks from the 42-colour palette of Montana: Zen Red, China Red, Rio and Moulin Rouge – with a dash of Candy Floss, contrasted by blacks and anthracite and the soft pastel floor. The layout of the stand is open and the tall walls are angled so as to invite the visitor in from either side.

MONTANA WINS FRAME AWARD IN MILAN

Winner in the category: Best Use of Colours Yesterday Montana Furniture won the prestigious FRAME Awards in Milan honouring Salone del Mobile's best stands. Montana won in the category: Best Use of Colour. The stand was designed by Helena Laursen, Architect and Head of Spatial Designs at Montana Furniture. The Nominees and Jury Montana Furniture's stand won against Moroso's stand built by Patricia Urquiola, Lammhults', Tacchini's and Laufen's stands. An international jury of industry leaders presided over the FRAME Awards Milan featuring a balanced jury of international creators and critics in the interior design world: Tom Edington, YourStudio, Associate Director of Environments, Anouk Haegens, Frame Research Editor, Floor Kuitert, Frame Editor, Storage Associati founders Barbara Ghidoni, Marco Donati and Michele Pasini, Howard Sullivan, YourStudio Co-founder and finally, Remi Versteeg, Space Encounters Co-founder.
