RATHI Self Priming Mini Mono block pumps set are the products of the expertise of highly qualified technical team with a stage wise rigid inspection .

The Volute chamber of RATHI Self Priming Mini Mono block pumps and impellers are well designed to provide the best possible hydraulic efficiency and suction lift characteristics. CNC & SPMs machinery and technology are employed in the manufacture of these pumps using quality raw materials, well balanced impellers, seals and ball bearings to ensure long life.

These pumps are Powered by a totally enclosed fan cooled. A.C. induction motor, suitable for long hours duty, Motor stator is made up of low wall loss steel laminations assembled under pressure and rigidly locked in the frame, well balanced rotor ensures vibration and noise free operations. The varnish impregnated windings made of enamelled copper wire of excellent resistance. Shaft is made of quality steel, precision ground of ample size for transmitting the rated Horsepower. All models are Incorporated with Thermal Over Load protector.

All motor shafts are of 40 CB/ En 8 material, Motor shaft of AISI 304, 316, 431, 410 & other material can be supplied on request. Motors are supplied with keys duly fitted on the shaft.

All standard motors are capable of service factor 1.1 at rated voltage & frequency/ or continuous duty.

Rotors are of squirral cage, aluminum die cast & are dynamically balanced with a half key to keep the vibration levels low. Motors with very low vibration level requirement for machine tool application can be given on request, Core material is low loss high grade silicon steel.

All motors can withstand momentary overload of 1.6 times of rated torque, for 15 seconds without stalling.

All standard motors are having both side shielded ball bearings'. Shielded ball bearings are capable of taking axial loads and make the lubrication life longer.

Noise levels of the motors are maintained as per specification in IS : 12065.

Motors are tested for vibration level of normal class as per IS : 12075. Precision levels of vibration can also be given on request.

Motors can withstand for starting up time 5 to 7 seconds for two starts from cold condition. For any other condition customer shall specify GD speed, period of acceleration. Duty cycle, speed torque curve of driven equipment & method of starting.

& motors are manufactured under supervision of highly qualified technical staff.

Salient Features of Bore well submersible pumps sets are Highly efficient & low power consuming, vibration free & noiseless & complete absence of

suction trouble. RATHI water filled submersible motors are easily rewindable & repairable. Less Maintainability due to water lubrication, vibration

free & noiseless operation and world class design gives high efficiency. Easily repairable & maintainable. These are manufactured with radial and

mixed flow impellers according to the head and discharge condition.

RATHI Stator wound with prosynthetic copper wires, which are easily rewindable. Water lubricated & water-cooled. World class designed excellent

performing thrust plates are used of S.S./ Carbon that can withstand thrust loads, with minimum wear & tear more over it also created a wedge of

water between shoe and the disc due to which the life cycle of thrust plate increased. Dynamically balance rotor gives best efficiency and increase

life of bush & motor.

Important Instructions :

• To get better performance, install the pumpset between 50% to 80% of its total head capacity.

• The Performance data are at rated voltage and only indicative, actual discharge depends on availability of water in

well, based on strength of water source, height of water column, submergence of pump.

• Fill clear, cold, clean drinking water in deepwell submersible and openwell submersible pumpsets as detailed given

in operator's manual before commissioning.

• Pump should not be operated by Install dry run preventer to protect the pumpset from dry running.

• Use appropriate size, good quality cable and starter / protection devices.

• Use ISI marked and low friction good quality pipes.

• The pipe diameters must never be smaller than the pump connections.

• Reduce number of bends, elbows, T-bonds as much as possible in the pipe line.

• As pumps employ a prime mover motor suitable for 200 - 240 Volts single phase or 380-415 Volts three phase, 50 Hz,

AC Supply.

• Maximum permissible supply voltage should be between -15% to +6%.

• All pumps are only suitable for pumping clear, cold, non aggressive, non explosive water without abrasives, solid

particles or fibers.

• Pump should be run for few minutes atleast once in 2 days to prevent from seizing.

• Avoid total electrical shock or injury by disconnecting power working on or around the pumping system. Only

technically qualified person must perform the works complying with local electricity rules and regulations. To reduce

the risk of electrical shock during operation an appropriate earthing is mandatory.

• Use Air valves in lengthy pipe line to avoid pipe damage.

• Performance applicable to liquid of specific gravity 1 and viscosity

as of water.

• Friction losses in riser pipe have not been calculated.

• Read out operator's manual carefully before installation.
