Snake pattern

An adult will need to help you by cutting out a snake template and some circles

and squares. Stick the shapes on the snakes. Can you put all the circles on one

and all the squares on another. Can you make a

pattern?If you want a challenge you could also include triangles.

Leaf counting

Go out and collect some leaves. They need to be big enough so that you can write numbers on

them that are clear to see. Get an adult to write a

number from 1-5 on each one. Place the correct

number of pegs on each leaf.

Parrot art

Create a parrot like the one below by painting

toilet roll holders in bright colours. Rip strips of

coloured paper to create a long tail. Add feathers and eyes to bring your parrot to

life!
