Box Tops for EducationIt only takes 2 seconds to help Ben Franklin! All you need is a pair of scissors! Box Tops are a great way to raise funds for our school and chances are you are probably already buying a lot of Box Top participating products.
How it works:
1. Find Box Tops on hundreds of products that you may already be buying. (General Mills, Hanes, Green Giant, Ziploc, Hefty, and that’s just to name a few! You can find the entire list of participating products at www.boxtops4education.com)
2. Clip the box tops off the products! 3. Send your box tops to school in an envelope or zip tight bag marked “PTO-Box Tops”,
with your child’s name and room number on it.
It’s that simple! Each box top is worth 10 cents for our school!
Keep an eye out for Bonus Box Tops opportunities at local grocery stores. Sometimes if you buy x amount of participating products, you will get a print out of Bonus Box tops at the register when you check out.

Giant Eagle “Apples for the Students” ProgramBen Franklin PTO is encouraging its supporters to enroll their Giant Eagle Advantage Cards® in the Apples for the Students program. The program begins October 2014 and runs through March 2015. The school earns points toward educational awards such as technology, IPads, playground equipment, and classroom supplies with every purchase made with an enrolled Giant Eagle Advantage Card®. Two Ways Supporters Can Register: 1. Visit www.gianteagle.com/schools and Click on the Apples for the Students icon and simply follow the onscreen instructions, enter the required information, including your Giant Eagle Advantage Card® number and your School ID number (Ben Franklin's Number is 0069). 2. Call toll-free 1-800-474-4777 and follow the simple voice response prompts. You will need to provide their Giant Eagle Advantage Card® number and your School ID number (Ben Franklin’s Number is 0069). Please take a moment to register your Giant Eagle Advantage Card® today! If you have children in multiple schools, you can give them the school code for each child’s school. Encourage family, friends, and neighbors to register their cards as well so we can maximize our earnings.

Shop N Save S.E.E.D ProgramThe Shop N Save SEED Program is another great way to help out our
school. You no longer have to save your receipts! All you have to do is register your Shop N Save Perks card online! When you register your
card, it will ask you what school to apply the rewards to. You pick Benjamin Franklin (Bethel Park) #207. It’s that easy!
Once your card is registered, it will track how much you’ve spent at Shop N Save. When the total for our school hits an average of $250 per
student, the kids will get a FREE assembly courtesy of the SEED Program.
You can tell your family, friends, and neighbors to register their cards for our school too!

Earn From Everyday PurchasesGrocery Receipts
Snap pictures of your receipts from any store, big or small, that sells
grocery items to earn Roo Points (cash donations) for your school. Whether
you’re shopping at a supercenter, dollar store, or local convenience store -
it doesn’t matter where you shop or what items you buy - Shoparoo will
make a cash donation for every receipt! Submit up to 20 grocery receipts
within a rolling 7 day period.
Non-Grocery Receipts
Snap pictures of your receipts from any restaurant or other retailer (that
doesn’t sell grocery items) to earn entries for your school into Shoparoo’s
$1,000 monthly sweepstakes and $15,000 yearly sweepstakes! Each
receipt counts as an entry into both monthly and yearly sweepstakes, so
spread the word at your school - the more receipts you submit, the greater
your school’s chance is of winning. Submit up to 50 non-grocery receipts
within a rolling 7 day period.
Market Day is a food cooperative fundraiser for our school. It is a monthly food program where you can purchase quality products and our school profits at least 10% of every purchase. Ordering is simple! The fastest way is to visit www.marketday.com and order directly from the site. If you’ve never ordered from the site before, you will need to register with a few easy steps and choose Ben Franklin Elementary as your pick-up location. Ben Franklin’s account number is 11597. You may choose to pay online via credit/debit card or pay by cash, check, or PA Access card at the sale. You may also send your order form to school with your child. Pay by check made payable to “Market Day” or pay at the sale as above. Your order will be ready for pick-up on the sale date listed online and on the back of your order form. Just come to the cafeteria on the sale date and time and check in with the Market Day representative at the location and your order will be ready to go!
