Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed bythe Obama Administration, would have effectively placed aglobal ban on the import and export of small firearms. The banwould have affected all private gun owners in the U.S., andcontained language that would have implemented aninternational gun registry on all private guns and ammo.Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators were willing togive away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power. CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by ChurchWorld Service and organized by local volunteers to raise funds to end hunger. Over 925 millionpeople around the world, including Greenwich, remain hungry. Funds raised will benefit the effortsof Church World Service as they help those in need help t hemselves through refugee assistance, self-help development programs and disaster relief. 25% of the total raised locally will be donated toEmergency Relief in Greenwich to fight hunger in our area. Three walk routes have been planned (short, intermediateand long) to accommodate walkers at each level.
