UNCLE WALLY WONDERS

UNCLE WALLY WONDERS

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for being in the country illegally ...you might live in acountry founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a fieldtrip or take an aspirin in sc hool, but not to get an abortion ...youmight live in a country founded by geniuses but run by idiots. If you have to show identification to board an airplane, cash a

check, buy liquor, or check out a library book, but not to vote... you might live in a country founded by geniuses but run byidiots.

If the government wants to ban stable, law-abiding citizensfrom owning gun magazines with more than ten rounds, butgives 20 F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt ...you might live in a country founded by geniuses but run byidiots.

If, in the largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, butnot a 24-ounce soda because 24-ounces of a sugary drink mightmake you fat ...you might live in a country founded by geniusesbut run by idiots. If an 80-year-old woman can be stripped searched by the TSA

but a woman in a hijab is only subject to having her neck and

head searched ... you might live in a country founded by geniusesbut run by idiots. If your government believes that the best way to eradicate

trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more ... youmight live in a country founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If a seven year old boy can be thrown out of school for sayinghis teacher is “cute”, but hosting a sexual exploration or diversityclass in grade school is perfectly acceptable ... you might live ina country founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If children are forcibly removed from parents who disciplinethem with spankings while children of addicts are left in filthand drug infested homes... you might li ve in a country foundedby geniuses but run by idiots.

If the government’s plan for getting peopl e back to work is toprovide 99 weeks of Unemployment checks and no requirementto prove they applied but can’t find work ...you might live in acountry founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself thenewest big screen TV whi le your neighbor buys iPhone’s, TV’sand new cars, and the government forgives his debt when hedefaults on his mortgage ...you might live in a country foundedby geniuses but run by idiots.

If being stripped of the ability to defend yourself makes youmore “safe” according to the government ...you might live in acountry founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

Of course, we keep electing these geniuses, so what does thatmake us? Idiots.

Whose side are these guys on? America’s or the world’s?Recently, we came very close to the United States Senate givingour Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop theUnited States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade

Treaty. The Statement of Purpose from the bill read: To upholdSecond Amendment rights and prevent the United States fromentering into the United Nations Arm s Trade Treaty. The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed bythe Obama Administration, would have effectively placed aglobal ban on the import and export of small firearms. The banwould have affected all private gun owners in the U.S., andcontained language that would have implemented aninternational gun registry on all private guns and ammo.Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators were willing togive away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power. Hereare the 46 senators that voted to let the UN take our guns:Baldwin (D-WI), Baucus (D-MT), Bennet (D-CO), Blumenthal(D-CT), Boxer (D-CA), Brown (D-OH), Cantwell (D-WA),Cardin (D-MD), Carper (D-DE), Casey (D-PA), Coons (D-DE), Cowan (D-MA), Durbin (D-IL), Feinstein (D-CA),Franken (D-MN), Gillibrand (D-NY), Harkin (D-IA), Hirono(D-HI), Johnson (D-SD), Kaine (D-VA), King (I-ME),Klobuchar (D-MN), Landrieu (D-LA), Leahy (D-VT), Levin(D-MI), McCaskill (D-MO), Menendez (D-NJ), Merkley (D-OR), Mikulski (D-MD), Murphy (D-CT), Murray (D-WA),Nelson (D-FL), Reed (D-RI), Reid (D-NV), Rockefeller (D-WV), Sanders (I-VT), Schatz (D-HI), Schumer (D-NY), Shaheen(D-NH), Stabenow (D-MI), Udall (D-CO), Udall (D-NM),Warner (D-VA), Warren (D-MA), Whit ehouse (D-RI), Wyden(D-OR). These bums voted to let the UN take our guns. Iwonder why we would want to re-elect them.
