How do I know if my child passed?

The CRCT test is based on 50 -55 % as passing . Represent by a score of 800

Suppose the math test has 70 questions and your child gets 39 correct.

• Did your child pass ? 39 out of 70 is 56%• But they did not pass. Why??

Page 14: MONDAY, OCTOBER 18 TH, 2010 Factory Shoals Middle School 8 th Grade Parent Night Personal Responsibility in Developing Excellence

CRCT scoring

In the CRCT there are test question which students take but are not counted. It can be between 10 or more questions.

So if there were 10 test questions and your 39- 10 = 29 correct out of 60 which is 48 %

1.That is why we need to know the test.

By knowing the percents we can help our students be successful?

Your student should focus on their algebra skills , then number sense, and data analysis.

50 % , 22%, and 17 % = 89 % of the test.
