The Reformation Continues…Even though Queen Elizabeth I created a

new Protestant church called the Anglican Church, it remained similar to the Catholic Church in many of its practices. However, other forms of Protestantism were rising in other places. In Switzerland, John Calvin created unique ideas about the relationship between people and God and used his religious teachings to rule the area as a theocracy. •How would your life be different if you lived in a theocracy?
