Weekend scope of work: Configuration 7 & 11

This weekend a combination of capital works programs, major periodic and routine maintenance will take place, affecting T1 Western Line and Blue Mountains Line trains. Some of the work scheduled is as follows:

- Station Upgrade works Wentworthville, Pendle Hill, Toongabbie, Blacktown, Penrith & Leura - Blacktown Hi-Speed Crossover project works - PSU 2017TT Aux Feeder and OHW works various locations - Turnout Refurbishment of 806A/808AB at Blacktown - Rerailing works at Linden, Medlow Bath - OHW Rebuild works at Emu Plains - PRS works at Valley Heights - Track Reconditioning works at Springwood - Drainage works at Blacktown, St Marys, Lapstone - Station Footbridge works at Bullaburra - Retaining wall works at Katoomba - Culvert Upgrade works at various locations - Rail and Turnout Grinding - Plain Track and Turnout Resurfacing - Overhead wiring, signal and track inspections and other preventative maintenance - Corridor Presentation: vegetation maintenance and graffiti removal at various locations
