A weeklong celebration of Involvement and a first for Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland!

PHA IntroducesInvolve Fest 2019

The events for this week will showcase what involvement really means. You will see and hear contributions from a plethora of different sectors including health and social care organisations; the community and voluntary sector; universities; service user and carer representatives.

You can expect to see exciting and innovative initiatives and projects that include different ways of working to highlight real and meaningful partnerships. The weeklong programme features events such as: a regional conference,

interactive involvement initiatives; music and art exhibitions; engagement events; family days; student learning and more.

Often great involvement work goes unseen, therefore we want to celebrate the time, effort and sterling work our service users and carers; staff and volunteers contribute to making a real difference. We also want to raise the profile of Involvement and Co-production by encouraging and inspiring more individuals, groups and organisations to be partners in health and social care.

November 18 – 23 will mark the celebration of involvement through the delivery of over 60 events throughout the region.

It doesn’t stop here. We hope that Involve Fest will raise the profile of Involvement work and create momentum so that we can build on our learning and make the festival an annual celebration.

Through our regional Engage website, we will continue to promote best practice in Involvement, Co-production and partnership working throughout the year.
