MAMMOTH MONASH MARKET - Plants & Produce Stall It is that time of the year where we would love our generous gardeners to start propagating or separating easy-to-grow plants (especially succulents, bulbs, runners, etc) so that they are ready to sell at our only school fundraiser event for the year - the Mammoth Monash Market - which occurs early in Term 2! In addition, if you have any donations of pots for this stall – I can take these home and store in my shed for further propagation purposes. If you want to have a chat to me about potential donations of pot plants or produce for that time of the year or any other ideas - please let me know! All money made from this stall is 100% profit as all items are donated. Thanks in advance, Laura Strout. "To plant a garden, is to believe in the future."

DONATIONS TO ART If you are thinking of donating recyclables to school this year - please don't bring any to the Art Room - but check in with the Preschool or JP classes instead, as they may use them for making time. Any 3D projects we will be doing in Art will be resourced by me or otherwise there may a special note put in the newsletter for a specific request. If you think something may be particularly useful - please have a chat with me about it first. Thanks kindly. Laura Strout - Visual Arts Teacher.

VOLUNTEERS Monash Primary & Preschool has Wednesday as its fruit/veg platter day for our children/students and we need volunteers to help cut up/prepare the platters from 8.30am in the Multi-Purpose room. Your help is very much appreciated.

PREMIER’S READING CHALLENGE Please find attached to this Newsletter an information brochure on the Premier’s Reading Challenge. If you have any further questions please come and speak to me. Sue Henwood - PRC Contact Person

COMMUNITY NOTICES YRMS LION KING JR CAST ANNOUNCEMENT It is with much pleasure we announce the Cast of our 2020 YRMS production Lion King Jr. It was a huge weekend of auditions with more than 70 young people singing, dancing and acting in front of a panel of five to win roles in the production. Unfortunately with such a huge production drawing such interest not everyone who auditioned was able to be accepted into the program but those who did will represent 20 Riverland schools. We would love to celebrate the success of your students with us as it takes incredible courage, strength and tenacity to go through the audition process.
