Compte tenu du fait qu'iI n' existe q u ' un seul établissement pénitentiaire, Ie personnel penitentiaire n'exerce que dans I'enceinte de cet etablissement. Les surveillants et autres personnels sont donc amenés à connaître les cas de mineurs au même titre que les autres détenus. Une assistante sociale, rattachée à la Direction des Services Judiciaires, rend visite aux détenus une fois par semaine et les assiste dans leurs démarches sociales et administratives et n'est pas comptabilisée dans les chiffres du tableau 14.
