The surface layer ’s patented texture, cal led "Non-Direct ional Tessel lat ion," improves surface drainage by 20% and increases adherence in the ra in and for water jumps. MONDO was the first to produce a variable hydraulic banking track. This unique system was installed for the first time in 1987 at the National Institute for Fitness and Sport in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is now used at fine training and high-level competition centers.

What makes Modultrack’s variable hydraulic banking tracks unique is that they are controlled using an innovative PLC (Programmable Logic Control) system for ease of use and optimal curve progression at every incline.

MONDO produces the only commercially available variable banking tracks with a hydraulic system. With the push of a button, the track’s curves can be raised to the desired height in minutes for competitions or training sessions. Once lowered, the track is flush with the surrounding surface, and the entire area can be used for other sports or activities. The ease of use in setting any desired incline makes the product extremely versatile. Every athlete, from beginners to world-class runners, can benefit from this track.

With the push of a button, the track’s curves can be raised to the desired height in minutes for competitions or training sessions. The hydraulically controlled tracks can be set at any intermediate position, making them ideal for all kinds of training activities by athletes of all levels.

MONDO defines the curve radius, the lateral incline and the horizontal and vertical transitions between straightaways and curves based on the most advanced biomechanical research and on its unbeatable experience in high-level competitions. Once lowered, the track is flush with the surrounding surface, and the entire area can be used for other sports or activities, gaining additional space with the removal (and storage on custom-made carts) of the modular railing around the external perimeter.

The world’s first portable banked Modultrack was installed in 1984 at the World Memorial Hall in Kobe, Japan. All of MONDO’s Modultrack solutions are designed with fully adjustable structures to guarantee quick assembly and compliance with international regulations, even when the supporting surface is not state of the art.

With its jaw-locking mechanism, the structure’s frame can be assembled and disassembled quickly and easily with no screws or bolts, guaranteeing consistent tightness and perfect dimensional accuracy, installation after installation. In 1980, MONDO installed the first permanent Modultrack banked track at the Palazzo a Vela in Turin, Italy. Modultrack permanent tracks are fully coupled for ease of assembly, transportation and dimensional accuracy over time. Unlike concrete permanent solutions, these tracks can be assembled in just a few days, with no need to wait for the floor screed to dry.

Compared with traditional concrete structures, these tracks offer fast assembly and dimensional accuracy over time. They can be assembled in a few short days, and can be quickly disassembled and recycled as well.
