• First part will show from here are the results, based on gender, age, country,… [this allows a better understanding on data validation]
• Second part shows the real data results [this data allows to better understand the approach that can, and should, be done on our App]

• Android is without any doubt the most used OS, with Symbian and iOSfollowing
• We need to pay attention to Windows 8 which , when launched, may change this scenario.
• No single OS should be chosen for development!

• But… almost 30% do!
• We should make the App available for free, but can include paid features!

• Most of the users do not have a data plan in their mobile equipment
• Maybe because there are many places with free internet, or just maybe because it is expensive; this can bring some drawback to our project.

• If data connection is very good, this may bring extra opportunities for users and they will change their point of views

• Since our App is meant to be used ‘on location’ this is a good indicator.

• If we are able to position our App with relevant information (pro and private) for the user, there may be a good opportunity here!

• Most users are not very concerned with data privacy and connectivity, although they may show some concern
• Our App should take very seriously the respect for data privacy (since only a few do not show any concern on that matter)

• Most users do not use any App of this type
• Question is… WHY?
• On one hand this can mean we have a good chance since no fidelity is yet installed on the market.
• On the other hand it may imply that users do not feel the need to use this type of App.
• Or… they did not yet know our App!!!

• Only a small amount of people gave us their e-mail, showing interest in receiving more information about our App
• To succeed in this App area, we need a lot of marketing to create visibility and interest in users
• Or… a huge amount of luck!

• This type of App is yet new in the market
• Interest is not yet fully spread, probably because this App type is new
• Marketing is very important to create interest and curiosity [in the beginning this will not allow App to be charged in any way]
• Market is young in this area and allow for fast growing [allowing to have big market share]
• App (initial) features require a careful consideration, due to usage purposes and to take advantage of possible market niches.
