About GOIC

Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) Was founded in
1976, by the GCC Member States. The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain,
Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait, and in 2009, Yemen joined the
Organization
the Organization was founded to achieve industrial cooperation and
coordination between member states. In order to enhance the industrial
development in the region.
GOIC also offers specific suggestions aiming at establishing joint
industrial projects between member states and delivers
recommendations .

GOIC is the unique source of commercial and socio-economic information and data
about Gulf markets. It works closely with clients to help them make smart decisions in a

GOIC has developed particular and specialized Programs intended to facilitate the
transfer of knowledge and the decision making processes.
MIOP : Manufacturing Investment Opportunities Program:
The program identifies investment opportunities in various industrial sectors. It seeks to generate and
promote new and profitable manufacturing project ideas suitable to region's private sector investor, at
regional or national levels, through public events held periodically across the GCC. (GOIC Conducted
about 462 Profiles).
IMI : Industrial Market Intelligence :
An Internet Portal designed to provide the single and easily accessible source of industrial data and
information, the first of its kind in the Middle East. The IMI Portal provides a ‘six-in-one tool’ made-up of
databases on Gulf Industries, Foreign Trade statistics, Socio-Economic indicators and Investment
Opportunities in the Gulf.
ISP: Industrial Studies and Policies
The Industrial Studies and Policies Program aims at developing member states’ industrial policies and setting
the industrial cooperation framework between these states

TCD : Training Capacity Building & Development:
Through this program GOIC offers specialized training courses, seminars and workshops for government
agencies, investors, industrialists as well as experts and individuals, aiming to enhance the individual and
organizational capacities and capabilities for sustainable development in the GCC industrial sector.
GSPX : Subcontracting & Partnership Exchange Program:
A Program initiated in cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)
to work as a match-making mechanism on industrial relations and creation of business contacts
between contractors and sub-contractors, usually Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs). GOIC
will build Industrial subcontracting gate which will be available online in the near future
ITA : Industrial Technical Assistance:
A skillful, in-depth assessment of the industrial establishments, carried out by GOIC to achieve potential
savings through energy efficiency improvement, productivity improvement, waste minimization and
pollution prevention. These assessments cover the establishment’s site, facilities, services and
manufacturing operations.
