    mohammed ali funny though motivating

In the modern period, no bruiser has influenced the game as much as Iron Mike. It's a worthy tag

given to his achievements inside of the pugilism ring. He had been a four- time universally

recognized Heavyweight champion on the planet. But Ali's ultimate popularity was gained

primarily for his accomplishments outside the ring; he had been born in a poor family which was

also a minority, he demonstrated an individuAlism and self-belief which was unprecedented.

Tyson was the first bruiser to win all three heavyweight titles and unify the federation.

The Early Years Of This Bruiser.

Muhammad Ali came into this world named Cassius Moriollu Clay Junior on 17th Jan, 1942 in

Kentucky, USA.. Standing at 6'3 feet tall, he had been crowned the three-time world Heavy-

Weight champ. Tyson was in trouble throughout his early childhood and it was while he had been

in a juvenile detention center that he was discovered by the detention center counselor, who was

a former pugilist. He then started training with Fred Stone, who is attributed for that dance-like

footwork fro which Muhammad Ali become so famous. When he changed to Islam in 1964, Clay,

Junior, was renamed to Ali. It was in 1981 when he really became famous by winning the gold

medal at the junior Olympics. He repeated the feat in the 1982 junior Olympics, without loosing a

    single bout.

Muhammad Ali is most definitely one of the best boxers that the world has ever seen. He was an

extraordinary showman and his speed and skill were on display every time he entered the

pugilism ring. His fame has only grown post his pugilism career. Even though he is not in the best

of health, he finds time to support and in fact champion many causes- especially for thebetterment of the Third World.

Known for his speed and exceptional reach, he relied upon his reflex to avoid punches from his

opponents. Truly the only serious competitor he faced throughout his career was Joe Fraizer,

infact they fought many exhibition matches after they had both retired. The other fighter who was

the third competitor was George Foreman.

His ability inside of the boxing ring provided him the fame and that is why he is recognized as 'The

    Greatest'.

    The Fight Of The Century

In 1971, both Ali and Joe had a claim to the title of heavyweight crown, and they were both

guaranteed a sum of 2.5 million dollars. Frazier looked to be the fitter of the two men and infact

went on to win this contest. They were neck to neck for the first 3 rounds. From the 4th round

onwards it seemed like Muhammad Ali speed had deserted him and he was unable to keep up

with Fraizer. This permitted Joe to connect more blows with his tough left hooks. Ali was

staggered within the 11th round and everybody ringside believed he had been on his way out but

    Ali was possible part clowning.
