Essenual Requlrements:

fie Vlce Chancellor shall be the prlnclpal executlve and academlc officer of the unlversitylwould promote teachlng, research and publlcatlonsl and ensure excellent admlnlstratlon andeffidency of the Unlversity, The applicant should:

r Not be more than slxty ftve (65) years of age on the last date ffxed for thesubmisslon of applicatlons.

o Have earned a PhD degree ffom an HEC recognlzed or UNESCO listedlnstitution.

r Have experlence ln a senior academlc, research or management leadershlpposition.

e Possess a dlstinguished research and publlcatlons record.

Term of Appolntm€nt & Salary:. The Vice Chancellor shall be appointed for a term of four years and serve at

the pleasure of the Chancellor.

o The incumbent will be enUtted for a maxlmum of salary of a Professor on

ienure Track System as per approval ofthe Government.
