TRANSCRIPT
Regardless of technical competence provided by the PVTD based
on its extensive experience in the field of technical training and of
skilled and trained labor provided by PVTD to the labor market
over years, the urgent need for continuous development and
modernization in the field of manufacturing technology made us to
go in the road of development of learning and training methods at
PVTD.
Through the twinning project with the
Finland “Strengthening the Institutional
Capacity of the Productivity and
Vocational Training Department PVTD
within the Vocational Training
System in Egypt”, five trades were
selected to act as a role model for all
PVTD trades.
The project aims to have apprenticeship graduates able to
keep pace with the rapid development in the field of
industry and meet the needs of the labor market and able to
develop themselves (through the integration of e-learning
with training process) and believe in the idea of Lifelong
learning training to reach the stage of creativity and
leadership
To achieve this objective, several workshops had been
held with the Finnish side with the purpose of promoting
training capacity to train number of trainers of the selected
five showcases
The first axis:
Management of training process with
modern pedagogical methods that the
student is the focus of the training process
and the trainer is just a facilitator (interactive
training – problem based training - project
based training – peer reviewing - ........)
The second axis:
Training on using E- learning in training
processes to be more effective
Integrated and comprehensive action plan
has developed to train all the trainers of
PVTD these methods to expand the
experiment, the first stage begins the first in
July 2015
Despite the lack of internet service in all PVTD
centers, the desire of the trainers participating in the
work works and their students and their enthusiasm
for the application of modern pedagogical methods
and the use of media and E- learning methods in
the training process motivate them to apply
modern methods of training personally as you will
see know form other colleagues

Production of electronic curricula which are flexible and easy to
change and update plus electronic publishing

him participating in the production of training materials

The curricula of showcases have been collected in one electronic
platform such as blog and social media, which is the language
modern era.
The diversity and multiplicity of training methods.
Participation of students in a working groups in the training.
Producing of educational by the students and upload the best ones
on YouTube.
Training method becomes visible through displaying it for others to
be used.
Create a flexible learning environment which continuing to change
to keep pace with the needs of the labor market.

The trainer shall play the role of mentor to the
students and encourage them to express their
minds freely and ask questions
Trainer acts as a facilitator for the student in
training
This does not mean the abolition of the role of
the trainer , but his role will become even more
important. He will be creative person with and
managing the training process in a highly
efficient way and working on achieve the
aspirations of progress and technology.
