Audition 1/ Model 1

I feel that having a female modern will broaden my magazine in the sense that it won’t be restricted to just males, I want my magazine to also be appealing for females also and I believe that including females in my magazine, I will achieve this and make my magazine suitable for both males and females. The reason why I have chosen for this female to be a model is because I believe this model is photogenic which will benefit my magazines overall aesthetics therefore making my magazine more appealing. This model also fits the age of the target audience that I am aiming my magazine for. This model will be featured in the contents page of my magazine.

Audition 2With model 2, I believe they are an excellent model however, I do not think I can achieve what I want to achieve with this model. The reason for this is because I want my main model for my double page spread to look dominant and authoritative. The reason why I want them to look like this is because I want my double page spread to look the best it can be and to achieve the rap genre look. Therefore after evaluating this model, I do not think they are appropriate for this magazine genre.

Audition 3 / Model 3With this model, I have chosen to include them in the contents page of my magazine, the reason why I have chosen not to have them as my front cover and double page spread image is because similar to model 2, I do not believe this model has the dominant and authoritative look that I am looking after. However I believe that I can style this artist to also look like the rap genre I want.

Audition 4/ Model 4This model is exactly what I am looking for. I believe this model achieves what I want in my front cover and double page spread. In my opinion, this model looks very dominant in the sample picture I have taken and also looks very authoritative on pictures. Therefore I will be using this model for the main parts of the magazine.
