“Mobos” is a group of high-tech professionals who deal with software development, as well as creating and support of Multiplayer Systems. At the present time the main direction of activity is a development of MMOG – massively multiplayer online games. The “Mobos” Group appeared in 2004 with the aim to create the browser MMOG “Pentacore. Lords of Edges”. The telecommunication partner of this project was the leading Internet-provider of the North-West Region ZAO “Web Plus”. At the present time “Mobos” is taking a part in a developing of a new unique product – the first full-fledged multiplayer role playing game for the cellular owners. At the present time the main direction of activity is a development of MMOG – massively multiplayer online games.

The “Mobos” Group appeared in 2004 with the aim to create the browser MMOG “Pentacore. Lords of Edges”. The telecommunication partner of this project was the leading Internet-provider of the North-West Region ZAO “Web Plus”.

While a work process devoted to the game products has been going on during years 2004-2006,

the company “Mobos” has projected, developed and debuged the technology which allows to create

and support virtual game worlds of the different levels of difficulty.

This technology intends any supplement at a front-end quality.

User interface may be based on WEB, WAP, Flash, J2ME and

3D-technology of the game space visualization.

The stage includes three basic elements:

The Client Proposal («Game Client»), being a main part at any project, is marked out by us into

a separate block of tasks and is specified depending on the business-model. This technology

allows us to develop the clients part by (WEB, WAP, SMS, Flash) and work with any

out-source developers (J2ME or 3D).

«Game Elements Constructor» is a client-server application, which allows to describe and

edit multiplayer game system by distanced web-interface.

Game system includes:

• Character model - avatar

• Subject World – game elements

• World Structure – territory and space of the game

• Interaction Model – actions to the side of Game Elements and interactions between characters.

Input and editing of the game elements is carried out by regular game-masters (game-editors) by

the special technique, without reference to the technical specialists.

Engine provides the uniform construction of clients interfaces and also realizes work with data

defining interactions, actions and filling of the game world by game elements and characters,

within the limits of typical algorithms.

Engine is independent in details and does not contain any exact instructions to exact data in

its realization.

The Game Element Constructor and Engine provide the realization of the world and interactions

Rules with it at an only descriptions level given from a game-designers/game-masters. Exactly

these descriptions define the qualities of the subject world which is supposed to be realized.

Data storage is done by DBMS MySQL.

Code realization of the softare - JAVA Application.

In current projects of “Mobos“ company, the realization assumes WEB / WAP / SMS-client.

The realization focused on Flash, J2ME or 3D clients is possible also.

«Data Analysis System» gives an opportunity to conduct the statictics, pointing the necessary

attributes of considered objects (game elements or characters) and receiving the reports from

these objects.

«Data Analysis System» allows to model and investigate the typical behaviour of the character.

«Data Analysis System» allows to plan the development of the game world, entrance of the

new elements, or to change the rules accordig to analytical data, received on general samples.

«Data Analysis System» accepts the game world monitoring which helps to find out the supernumerary situations.

“Magic of Moboland” is a full-fledged RPG for WAP 2.0, the main project which is developing by the

“Mobos” specialists to the moment. The game world of Moboland is a large continent, where various

Inhabitants – either absolutely real animals or fantasic beings are settled.

The climatic conditions of the game world are very much like earth: woods, fields, steppes, deserts,

mountains, bogs, lakes and seas.

The characters of the game are presented by 5 unique races with unlimited opportunities for the

haracter development. Each race is protected by one of five elements.

A character in the game has:

- six features – base characteristics - «force», «dexterity», «reaction», «intellect», «constitution»,

«charisma»;

- four specialization – a warrior; a wise man; an adventurer; an expert.

- ten skills – procuratory skills of the character, such as using of different types of weapon, and also

«noiseless walk», «acrobatics», «breaking», «swimming», «rock-climbing» and others;

- vital force – viability of character;

- magic force –a limit for magic and some special actions of the character.

- experience points – a level of development of professional skills of the character.

The player has an opportunity to manipulate with huge quantity of game subjects - the weapon, spells,

potions, magic books, equipment, materials for subjects creation. Most of these subjects, such as the

weapon and equipment the player can create by himself. All subjects he may sell, buy, receive as a

result of passing quests, win in battle with monsters, find during his travel.

As fighting interactions, the unique turn-based system of fight is developed, it has an opportunity of major battles, an application of various magic and military skills and more than ten kinds of the weapon for all tastes.

The game “Star Combats Online” may be considered as a sample of a new category of games –

SMS SHOOTER.

Simple rules of fights, leading in sort of space combats, make the game available to a very wide

audience.

The world of the game is in space fights.

A player starts as a young pilot – a captain of a small fighting spacecraft with a standard set of

arms. Spending and winning duels with contenders, the player has an opportunity to conduct

fights at more powerful ships.

A result is: a rank of the military colonel of Galactic Fleet; awards and encouragements for the valor,

hown in fights; the mighty space weapon for the own fighting ship.

The first stage of the project development offers SMS and WAP interfaces. As a visual

representation of a degree of the game development, the player receives the image of his

fighting ship by a special inquiry.

While removing the game interface to WAP-version, it is intended to develop the next opportunities

for players:• To fight inside one of three armies – Galactic Fleet, Rebels or Corsairs;• To form clans inside each group;• To communicate in chat;• To battle in groups;• To have better opportunities choosing an opponent for fighting;• To up-grade not only weapon but also some other spacecraft systems;• To shunt in a fight;• An opportunity to play in different game zones (orbits and galaxies), which differently affect to the

weapon and systems of the spacecraft;• A developed rating system.• An opportunity to keep a blog based on the “field diary” and some other.
