The Automotive Industry is facing unprecedented change. New players are threatening to disrupt an industry that has thrived for more than 100 years and forms the backbone of some or Europe’s largest economies. At the same time, the new world of mobility opens up huge opportunities for both established and emerging players.
Increasing urbanization will further increase congestion and creates demand for new vehicle concepts and smart, multi-modal mobility. The threat of global warming calls for clean energy sources and more sustainable mobility concepts.
The digitization of the automobile turns cars turn into app platforms and wallets on wheels, leading to a shift in value creation from physical goods to digital services. At the same time this transformation introduces questions related to data ownership and exposes us to cyber security threats.
New consumption models are putting car ownership into question and connected, self driving cars promise to completely reshape how we think about mobility. New ecosystems will form around new business models that promise to turn the industry on its head. However, in order to make autonomous, driverless cars a reality, a range of technology and regulatory challenges will need to be addressed.
MOBILITE PARIS CONGRESSFostering Innovation through Collaboration
No single industry will be able to single-handedly find the answer to these challenges. Inno-vative solutions to these complex ecosystem challenges require cross-industry collaboration. Siloed thinking will have to make way for collaboration and the open exchange of ideas. The complex regulatory challenges ahead call for an open dialogue between citizens, corpora-tions and policy makers.
The congress at MOBILITE PARIS will bring together top level executives, policy makers and thought leaders from across the global mobility ecosystem. It will create a unique opportunity for attendees to develop new relationships with leaders representing diverse industries in-cluding telecommunications, energy, the insurance sector, internet and social media, mobility and transportation as well as the automotive sector. MOBILITE PARIS will bring together policy makers and industry leaders to explore regulatory changes that establish a solid legal framework for the mobility revolution that is ahead of us.

The 2-day congress will take place from Monday, 3. October 2016 to Tuesday, 4. October 2016. The congress will take place in a separate section of Hall 7.1, which will be the home of the MOBILITE PARIS exhibition.
