▪ Section 3.13:‘They must be designed and have

product conformity certificate to BS EN 1004;

▪ Also mentions the two methods of assembly

Local Requirements – Dubai

CoP for Managing Work at Height (in draft):▪ All trainings related to Mobile Access Towers shall be authorized by the

international professional bodies (e.g. PASMA)

▪ It is recommended that all personnel involved in mobile access towers are

trained to the standard of PASMA or equivalent international recognised training

body

▪ The UK Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association

(PASMA) has developed two methods of installing and dismantling guard-rails

that do not require the assembler to stand on an unguarded platform

▪ No requirement for DAC approval

▪ The use of equipment which has third party product conformity certification to

BS EN 1004.
