Sub: - Invitation of Applications for engagement of Sr. Software Developer in Prasar Bharati - reg.

Prasar Bharati invites applications from young and dynamic persons for engagement as Sr. Software Developer in Prasar Bharati on full time contract basis, based at New Delhi.

2. Applicants meeting the following eligibility criteria will be considered for the role:

A. Education Qualification: M. Tech. /B. Tech/ MCA (full time) from a recognized/reputed University/Institute.

B. Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in programming and web development of a new portal, with central/state govt. or a govt. undertaking in the following fields:

(a) Programmer I & II: PHP, Drupal, HTMl, JQuery, Jawa Script, CSS. Bootstrap, MYSQl, Drupal APls.

(b) Programmer III & IV: ASP.NET, C#, SQl, HTMl, CSS, Jawa Script, JQuery, SQl Server, Visual Studio, JSON, RSS, Security Audit.

(c) Programmer V: PHP, MySQl, java Script, JQuery, XMl, HTMl, CSS, Native Mobile App development in Android and iOS platforms

C. Age limit: - Age should not be above 35 years as on the last date for receipt of applications, which may be relaxed by Prasar Bharati in deserving cases.

3. Job Description:

(i) For DD News: 2 positions - Programmer I & II: Development of DD News Website, customisation for new features, resolution of operational issues related to this website, development of Global Digital Platform and its integration with the website

(ii) For NSD AIR + ESD: 2 positions - Programmer III & IV: Development of News on AIR website, customisation for new features, operational issues related to the website, development of Global Digital platform and its integration with the website.

(iii) For IT Division: 1 position - Programmer V: Development of global digital platform and its integration with existing websites. Development of ESD website, customisation of new features and resolution of operational issues related to this website.

4. The terms and conditions of engagement are as given under:-

(i) The services will be on purely contract basis. The person engaged shall have no claim whatsoever, either implicit or explicit, for his/ her absorption or regularization in Prasar Bharati.

(ii) The person engaged on full time contract basis shall not be allowed to take up any other assignment during the period of their contractual engagement.

(iii) The person engaged on contract basis can be assigned additional task apart from the specific tasks for which they have been engaged.

(iv) Period of engagement shall be for one year, extendable based on the requirement of the organization and performance of the individual.

(v) The engagement can be discontinued/ terminated by either side, by giving one month's notice, or two month's remuneration in lieu thereof, without assigning any reason.

(vi) No claim of pensioner benefit on account of this contractual engagement shall be admissible.

(vii) Prasar Bharati reserves the right to conduct test if felt necessary and/or interview of the shortlisted candidates. No Travelling Allowance etc. will be paid for attending the test! interview.

(viii) Consolidated fixed monthly remuneration of Rs.42,OOO/- will be paid as starting remuneration.

5.
