Dress
Dress casually for the weekend; Wear trousers and a shirt with a collar for the reception at the President’s House. Wear cocktail attire for the dinner.
Meals
All meals at MMA are free. The dinner at the Hilton Garden Inn is $60 for alumni and $30 for guests.
Hotel Reservations
The cost per night at the Hilton Garden Inn is $150 for a standard room and $190 for a suite. The cost per night at La Quinta Beach Resort is $130. To reserve a room at Hilton Garden Inn, contact Alina Rivera at 956.761.8700 or [email protected]. Ask for the MMA rate. You may also go to Hilton.com. Type in South Padre Island and click on Hilton Garden Inn South Padre Island. Enter the arrival date and click on Check Rooms & Rates. Click on Have a Special Code? in the Narrow Your Results column. Helping Our Heroes
Benefitting
Wounded Warriors Project and ALS Association Texas Chapter

The Helping Our Heroes Committee is hosting the 4th Annual Helping our Heroes Tournament at the South Padre Golf Club on Saturday, April 2, 2016. This tournament is to benefit the Wounded Warriors Project and the ALS Association of Texas Chapter. Last year, we were able to raise over $15,000 for the two charities, with 88 players in attendance.
We are asking for support from our local businesses. We are hoping that your donations in the form of gift certificates, merchandise, services, gift baskets, etc. can be used for our raffles and silent auctions. We hope that you will assist us for this worthy cause. A donation of any kind would be greatly appreciated. IRS Tax-Exempt Form 501 (c) (3) verifying our public charity status is available upon request.
