region in Bihar, India
• Painted on the walls of their houses on freshly plastered mud walls and floors of huts but now they are also done on cloth, handmade paper and canvas.
• The colors used come from plants.
• Symbols to tell stories of gods and goddesses believed to bring good luck – Symbols can include: fish, ponds and water life
