Public affairs sets us apart» We believe in educating

students to imagine the future — your future — and we do so by incorporating three themes into the curriculum and activities across campus: ethical leadership, cultural competence and community engagement.

» We host a Public Affairs Conference every year on campus and bring in guest speakers from around the world to share their knowledge and experiences.

Exceptional resources and amenities» Meyer Library offers a huge

selection of books, journals, databases and other resource materials. The library also has wireless network access throughout the building, computers, media-viewing and listening stations, copy services and group study rooms.

» On-campus housing offers apartment-style residence halls. One- and two-bedroom apartments are available in Dogwood Apartments, Kentwood Apartments and Sunvilla Tower. All three facilities provide fully furnished bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms.

» Off-campus housing options include many apartment complexes, rental homes and loft apartments within walking distance of campus.

» Plaster Student Union is the place to find restaurants, a bank, a post office, a cup of coffee and more.

» The Missouri State Bookstore has everything from textbooks to computers. You will also find a nice selection of MSU clothing and accessories to wear on BearWear Fridays.

» Taylor Health and Wellness Center is our on-campus medical facility. Taylor has a full-time staff of physicians, nurses and pharmacists, and also offers lab and X-ray services. All students who have prepaid a health fee, as well as their spouses and household members, are eligible for care.
