MISSION: Love God and lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. 

 VISION: WHO WE WILL BE IN 2023 

Christlike disciples who build intentional relationships  to make Christlike disciples across Fergus Falls and Otter Tail County 

 Every person will have a personal commitment to reach people who are far from God. 

● We will be Great Commission minded with our Father’s heart for the spiritually lost, unresolved, and disconnected 

● Each one will reach one, each year.  Every person will be a minister, missionary, and a multiplier for and in God’s Kingdom. 

● Everyone will see their Top 5 places as their own church and mission field. ● Where God has you on the map, He has you on mission. ● We will build authentic, personal relationships based on common interests with our peers..  ● We will seek opportunities to share our faith and extend an invitation to The Naz. 

 We will be the easiest church for unchurched people to attend and assimilate. 

● Provide an environment where those in sin and less than ideal situations are welcomed and loved.   

● We will expect and welcome guests every week. Every guest can belong before they believe. ● It will be a rare week that someone does not come to faith in Christ.  ● We will provide clear and easy next steps to assimilate into the life of The Naz and faith in 

Jesus Christ.  

We will hold tightly to the message and mission of Christ. We will hold loosely to methods and models of communicating the message. 

● To reach people nobody else is reaching we will do things nobody else is doing.  ● We will do anything short of sin to reach people for Christ. ● Only the Presence of Jesus and people are sacred. ● Models & methods (services, music, buildings) are avenues to the destination: Jesus Christ. ● We will embrace the reality and pace of change to keep The Naz pertinent to life. 

 We will continuously raise the priority, practice, and intensity of prayer. 

● Everything we do will be covered, supported, and anointed in prayer. ● Every person will develop full-time faith through the full-time practice of hands-up prayer. ● We will humbly and boldly pray for the supernatural presence of the Holy Spirit in our 

services, gatherings, and small groups. ● We will experience the unmerited favor of God through seeking and knowing Him in prayer. ● We will radically obey His promptings and leadings as we pray.   ● We will pray for those Christ is pursuing and for those who are persecuted for their faith. 

 

 

6. Sundays will be the launching pad to inspire obedience to Jesus for believers and to 

introduce spiritually unresolved people to Jesus. ● We will assemble as worshippers with God as our only audience. ● We will preach and teach God’s Word for life application and transformation. ● We will regularly provide opportunities to and witness people receive Christ and His 

salvation. ● We will utilize technology to reinforce, remind, and encourage everyone to follow His Word. 

 7. Daily and weekly discipleship will be the rocket that drives obedience, spiritual growth, and 

maturity. 

● We will be known as ordinary people who encounter and experience God as a lifestyle. ● Everyone will enjoy (1) daily communion with God, (2) community and accountability with 

other growing disciples, and (3) selflessly serving others. ● Small groups and mentoring will be vital instruments in the discipleship training process. 

 8. We will employ a top notch, relational system for discipleship training and leadership 

development. 

● We will raise the level of personal, spiritual, and ministry leadership in every individual. ● We will train every disciple to know and utilize their spiritual gifts in ministry. ● Every Naz attender will be known as influential servant leaders in their areas of influence. ● Spiritual growth will be measured by life change and transformation, not by numbers only. 

 9. We will train and empower people for personal ministry as a disciple of Jesus. 

● People will pursue the question, “To what people and ministry am I called?” ● “I am the church” will be each person’s motto and motivation in service and ministry. ● The Naz no longer says, “We can do it, you can help.” We’ll say, “You can do it, we can help.” ● We will be known for our joy, compassion, and love towards one another. 

 10. We will be frontrunners in preparing and maintaining healthy marriages and families. 

● Everyone will be furnished with the tools to flourish in God's design for marriage and family.. ● We will provide tangible services to support physical and spiritual needs in our community. ● We will be ready to engage in life and family situations that will be messy. ● Those experiencing a breakdown in their families will find help, healing, and care. 

 11. NazKidz Children’s Ministry and 412 Youth Ministry will be premier ministries which draw 

and transform children, teens, and their parents from across Fergus Falls and Otter Tail County. 

● We will partner with parents and provide them with tools to fulfill their role as the spiritual leaders of their homes. 

● We will provide a much needed place of belonging for the most connected yet isolated generation in history. 

● We will have first class environments which draw students to a non-traditional church feel. ● Our students will be full of faith and the Holy Spirit and be agents of change in their schools. 

 12. Men will be expected to embrace and thrive in their God-given roles as servant leaders.  

● Men of The Naz rise up as husbands, fathers, bosses, and leaders of purpose and character. ● Being sold out to Christ will mean many things moving forward, but soft and weak will not 

be among them.  

13. We will serve our city because we love our city. 

● We will seek to add value to local individuals, families, neighborhoods, schools, and organizations with no strings attached. 

● Every small group will embrace ways to intentionally serve and pastor our community. ● If The Naz were to be removed from Fergus Falls, they would miss us and want us back.
