PORTFOLIOSelected Works
I have always been fascinated by how things are made, by the detail and beauty of well-made things. I have an
insatiable curiosity about how things work. I still spend many hours taking things apart and trying to put them back
together again. The opportunity to solve problems and look for beautiful solutions means I am happy in what I do.
This has given me a love of engineering and technology which helps to inform everything that I do.
My work is underpinned by a strong conviction in the creative design process, not by a desire to specialise in
any single sector. My strength lies in my ability to apply a systematic design process regardless of programme or
location. I apply an inclusive and collaborative approach fostering creative dialogue with clients, consultant teams,
contractors and end users, as well as an active exchange between the disciplines of architecture, art, design, and
urbanism.
I am experienced as a Site Architect and Project Architect on an array of different scale projects. This has provided
me with a valuable background in both the project and process of construction.
Owing to my 6 year degree education and my collaborations with the specialist in-house technical team at IDOM,
I acquired a sound knowledge of building services engineering including structural, mechanical, electrical and
plumbing.
I am keen on how future technology can help collaborative working and I am passionate about BIM issues. I am a
REVIT Architecture 2013 Certified Professional and AutoCAD expert.
I am able to cope with conflicting demands, and to prioritise duties and work effectively under pressure while
remaining calm and professional at all times. I am experienced in the supervision of junior Assistant Architects on
the team. I acquired an outstanding capability in managing systemically multi-disciplinary tasks.
My interests include architecture, design, landscape and urban planning. I am passionate about visiting sites
to understand the unique historical, cultural, socio-economic and geographical influences, as well as specific
requirements of clients and users. It is this depth of engagement which inspires my work.
Particularly I am interested in the architecture of London, the way that London works, its planning, development,
and its uniqueness as a world city.
